July 4 - Happy birthday America!

The 4th of July is also an important date to me, it's my wedding anniversary.
When the Americans celebrate their independance, I celebrate my dependance ;)
Same for my grandparents. My Grandfather oftenly jokenly says that he lost his independence on his marrage day ;).

Anyway. Time to put away your fireworks, you had your fun boys :p.

Still quiet here, but that is because people are too busy plotting to secede. ;)

Yeah, it was notibly quieter here, too. :hmm:

(but there were still people setting off fireworks, just no fireworks show this year that we could see at the bottom of our street).

Luckily, King George did not get drunk and let off some of the 'extra-big fireworks' from the nuke silos!

:D

You know, for the 4th we could take the nukes out of a few silos and use those tubes to launch some REALLY big sparklie rockets..... [party]

Edit: ....or, would using a nuclear silo for something fun be considered a bad thing....? :)

When other countries send over some of their 'fire works' as a reply - Then the party really heats up!

:D

They would get locked up in virtually any municipality in the US. ;)
Fun fact for the day: It's not illegal to discharge a firearm within the city limits of Auburn, Alabama.

Still didn't notice anyone doing it, but I go to bed early . . .

Well, I suppose the embers from a burning 500-foot-long sparkler might start a forest fire in the U.S. or China or somewhere..... :)
