In my last Fall Further game, (on the second to last patch) the Kahdi had notheing toughter then warriors at turn 400 odd (while I was steam roling them with the Risen Emporor and an army of Principle.
Okay I am nearing the end of my Kahd game. I fully admit I know nothing of the lore behind the game but a few new things I noticed...
- Distinct lack of healing.
I was resorting to courage as I never could make a priest (sort of understand) not a medic like the Grigori. Would it be possible to consider a medic type unit? Possibly a Medic UU or a priest of Oghma even if they were national units or even a minor unique hero/world unit.
Specifically, I think a benevolent vault creature that heals things, would be good. Not a buildable unit.
- It seems Kahd can't get Twincast. Is this on purpose?
Seeing as he is the ONLY hero the civ gets, and the civ gets a huge hit if he dies, and he comes pretty late, he seems to be a tad under strength. In my game he has over 300 exp and the only promotions I have not purchased are a few spell lines I didn't want and some resists. I am pretty sure I didn't just miss it.
I don't think this is deliberate, more of an oversight.
Twincast requires Combat V and Hero. I think Khad gets a different promotion in place of hero, that has more or less the same effect, except that it's not a prereq to Twincast.
Some sort of special exception allowing him to learn it, seems necessary. An archmage hero without twincast is like water without wet.
A creature from the gate with Medic (and maybe promotable to cast heal like a high priest?) would be great.
Currently I saw no reason for Kahd to pursue the priest tree at all, other than Beserkers, which seemed odd for a man so driven by a conflict between 2 deitys. Would it make sense to tie in a "Priest" gate creature to those techs?
