KalNES

Quite short I would say, but sums it all nicely. We need more PC wars!

The steppe is mine. I have no interest in your southern lands now, so unless you wish to fight a war you cannot win, leave my lands or face the power of the horde.

((By the way Kal', shouldn't I have absorbed the Izanagi population and those true believers that didn't follow their fleeing 'God'?))

Cannot win? Our economic power would outstrip your resources if need be. We do not fear you, but at the same time are not interested in a extended war.For peace i will return your city to you and the lands surrounding it. But you must yield the land by the river. Do you accept this?

'Your' economic power? From my scouts report, we can both muster the same amount of resources if it was required. Yet my armies are far more experienced and skilled; if you continue to believe your pathetic army can fight my own, feel free to hold onto your pathetic delusions while I crush those that dare march in my lands.

If you would rather save yourself from the sting of defeat, retreat from my lands, and I will perhaps think twice of staining my hands with Southern blood.

I suggest you berate your lazy scouts. I can field 5000 more troops were Singod to direct its economy to war. You have our terms, either accept or suggest an alternative. If you reject any kind of consession forget peace, return to your illusions of grandeur.

Even with Izanagi's superior troop numbers, they were defeated at every turn by my armies. You believe that you will succed with your numbers where their hordes failed miserably? If this is your belief, than I am more than happy to oblige your request for death.

The horde comes...

You lead a rabble of cattle herders, your victorys were against another such weak, backwards nation. Throw your all might at the Singodian nation if you wish, we will not be cowed.

"What victory can be had, until their very people bow in fear at your feet?"

The Late Khan Krez

"Khan Batchi, we have delievered the message to the Singod leader. If his reaction was any indication, they will not withdraw from our lands..." huffed and puffed the messanger, his breath visable in the cold night air.

"Then it will be war?" said a dangerous voice, hidden in shadows of flickering camp fires in the Krengel main camp. The messagners nevously looked at each other, before nodding fearfully at their leader.

"Kringt will be pleased," silkly whispered the Khan, stepping fully into the light. The crazed light in his eyes made the messangers shiver, and they quickly bowed before turning to leave as quickly as they could.

"Wait," spoke the Khan as they attempted to run, "I want you to gather a feast for the men. We will sacrifice one of the lost Singod cavalry to the Masked God, and drink to victory tommorrow morning. Then, we ride for war," he finished, waving them away.

The Khan retreated into his tent, and knelt in the dark towards a wooden mask, hanging in front of him. Lighting incense, he inhaled deeply, and looked deeply into the masks empty eyes.

Suddenly they lit up as if on fire, and the Khan jumped back as if struck, screaming wildly, "What is this! Who are you!"

"You do not recognize me, my favored servant?" spoke the mask, as if laughing. Batchi calmed himself, shivering at the icy coldness of the voice, "My God Kgrit?" he asked, shakily.

"Indeed, my servant. You have brought me many fine souls, especially that of the pretender God at the ambush of Ject mountain. I am well pleased with the blood split in my name. Yet, I require more. When you take pathetic Singod's cities, I ask you to slaughter every man that is not useful, and rape every women and child until the tales chill the bones of later generations. Will you do this, for me?"

"Of course, my God!" screamed Batchi.

As suddenly as it happened, Batchi was suddenly alone. And he began to laugh and laugh and laugh...

He would kill in the name of his God, and he would enjoy it greatly.

OOC: Abaddon.....as one who knows not to trust numbers when fighting Contempt.........Don't do it.......

~Darkening~ would know. He got annihilated by the Lengels in LINESII (though ultimately outlasted them and retook his losses).

2 questions... did my education actually drop due to building schools as the update says? Because that makes little sense. It should be at four now as I invested in it and it was 3 before :)

And... what is that orange nation I'm sharing a southern border with?
