ha! I just had to comment on this:

I have learned from Kazpit that waiting for a neighbor to sneak attack you before you start gearing up for war, leads to a sloppy, haphazard, and unsuccesful war, while careful planning leads to success...

some 'sneak attack' killing off one of the units you had sent north to attack us with (in our territory even!)!! what was sloppy was sending up raider axes to ours borders and giving away your intentions.

Yeah, that would be good. Provo probably knows Shogu's original plans better than anyone else.

I have put the game up and Kicked Shogu to ai so that Classical can take over.

Provolution has lost both his cities, but somehow he is still alive...I think he put a settler in a galley and is looking for somewhere to settle again

I suggest I kick him to ai and someone loggs in and deletes his galley so this game can get going? All agree with that?

If Provo was around I would be against deleting his ship. When the Trojans escaped they did go and found Rome after all...

All I would ask is for someone neutral to do the deleting. Can mikotian or damnrunner be the ones to do the deed?

Well i will need the game info again, since I have deleted it. So can someone pause the game so i can claim my civ? I am going to bed, but I will play my turn when I get up, so hopefully in 8 hours time the info is there and I can play my turn, so no need to pause it, since I saw that the timer has been extended.

No BTs here so I can't do it. But if i had BTS I would take over his game.

I have fond memories of doing quite well in a Civ 3 game in which I was able to form an island kingdom after being overrun. For all you young-un, back then you could not attack from the sea until you had marines. Hence a massive warrior army defended my midsized island.

In fact, I technically won the game as everyone else quite - no doubt due to my daring pillaging raiders.
