[Kingmaker]Lord of the Flies REDUX [In Play]

Does this mean that someone AFK for two day/night cycles will be WOGed?

It had been a long night for Visorslash. Seeing Mat's body floating in the swimming hole was unexpected and hard to shake from one's mind. But, Visorslash's night was not over. He was trying to find out who was an evil hunter. He acquired a small stick from the forest and was writing in the sand near his hut. Just then, two hands encroached Visorslash's shoulders. Visorslash looked up to see Jack's mad eyes.

"Hello there, you little prick," said Jack, " I overheard what you said to the chief at dinner. I must say, you're a smart son of a gun... a bit too smart, though."

"What are you going to do with me?" asked Visorslash.

"I'm going to buy you dinner and give you chocolates. WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M GOING TO DO?! I'm going to kill you."

Jack pinned Visorslash to the ground. "Piggy" Visorslash squealed like a little pig. Jack stabbed him through the stomach, blood spilling down his side.

Visorslash was killed!

Spoiler :
He was Piggy!

Jack left to go back to his hut, but as he was going, he saw Piggy's notes. He decided it was best to kick sand all over the place to hide them.

In the morning, everyone was surprised to find Piggy's dead body, impaled like a kebab. Well, everyone except the chief who expected this to happen.

Kennigit has the conch!

End of Chapter 2

I have to agree with Zack here, since his reasoning yesterday "lets lynch active players" was genuinely terrible. Full disclosure: this is an OMGUS.

This game has a bunch of inactive players due to the prolonged delay of the start. The mafia has been active from day one. Ergo the inactives are less likely to be suspects.

People who are still alive and posted on day 1:

zack - very active

southernking - very active

spaceman - very active, had an accusation from Visorslash (Piggy) on him before Visor was killed. Advocates the complete opposite point of view from mine. I believe his logic is faulty for that reason. My top choice for being lynched.

It seems to me that at this stage we should lynch one of those who didn't post on day 1, since they aren't contributing anything to the town's efforts, and we have little else to go on.

sprig - very active - less likely to be scum or he would have voted for someone other than Mat last night.

jarrema - lots of posts, mostly about the rules and real life - no substantive analysis

civgeneral - posted only once on D1, no analysis - seems like classic lurking scum behavior - My second choice for being lynched.

CivGeneral is literally impossible to read, he does the exact same thing, reacts the exact same way, (and so on) every game regardless of alignment.

He's a Mafia mastermind. Beware. By the way, I didn't post on D1 either (I believe). What do you read?

The timer is running. That's all you need to know.

Mmmm I'm going to just have to say that sprig is innocent. He could bandwagon teammates but I mean, it'd suck a bit if sprig knew mat93 would be wogged and could place vote accordingly without a general host comment that WOG's could be incoming d2 (particularly when compared to say, myself, who didn't show up that day either and just had a simple d1 post).

So the question is who is metagaming by being an org player and immediately chose to kill bsmith and visorslash, and got lucky that both bsmith and visorslash at least have namesake roles if they were non vanilla

That makes sense, considering BSmith and Visorslash are almost unheard of on CFC.

guess question too is whether there is 2 or 3 scum

both are reasonable. If there were 3 is would need what, 2/6 lynches to be right, then 6 nightkills on townies. That'd be 10 dead townies and 2 dead mafia, so 1 mafia vs 2 more townies at day 7?

I'm going to go with spaceman for now. The nightkills are not a random distribution (someone chose that, and we have to assume mat93 did not contribute). And although not really a classic "flinch", spaceman knows he can be categorized as one of the "active" players

If the mafia is in the "active" player pool, particularly if he knew he was the only mafia remaining, he'd know he'd automatically lose if that logic path was followed (to lynch active people), regardless of whether or not that is a good or bad reason. He'd lose and have no control over it.

tbh I see people talk about visorslash on the org more than what he does on cfc

what I mean is, is someone like civgeneral really going to come at night--with an inactive teammate in mat93-- and target specifically bsmith and visorslash?

I don't think so.

which that's my metagame for now, terrible reasons but if people want, I will literally go to the dice roller. One mafia is down, that's a good spot.

edit is against the rules but:

honestly random vote would be best, but my ego is too big to try to "figure" stuff out.
