(I thought I did this before, but I don't remember so if repeat, sorry)

What about teaching non-official languages?

For example, if you and/or your parents are from another country, should you be able to take classes in school for the language?
if yes, should it be during school hours or after school?
 
How many threads have you started today? No schools should teach what is on the naional corriculum, nothing else.

Schools shouldn't teach the national curriculum?Huh? :confused:
 
Lack of a uniting language is a negative thing. The children should be taught exclusivly in the national language, but there should be provisios to teach the parents the national language to.

The immigrants should respect and try and learn the language also.

That is getting to be a problem in some places in the US. Immigrants (especially illegal ones) don't even try to learn English. If they are going to live in a certain country, then they should learn to speak the language of that country.
