Leader appearance by affinity

I hope it's been seen and we can have a future dlc with it.

Actually that should be more of a patch. (just enable your leader to popup when you get to certain stages.)

Although I'll be the first to admit that it's not an important feature, it's disappointing that they made such a deal about Affinities changing the appearance of the leaders, when the changes are so trivial.

Its possible we haven't seen the higher levels. (10+Affinity)
In general though, I agree. Hopefully by the time it is at 15 they are barely recognizable as human (except Purity)

Which would make it all the more important to be able to see your own (as you will likely have the highest affinity levels in a game...assuming you win)

I agree. The only ones who seem to have had some greater care in mid/late affinities are Kozlov, Khavita and late-Purity Suzanne. The others are just ugly.

The last 3 Elodies are mid level I think and that's because both harmony and supremacy have implants on their heads, plus supremacy elodie has an artificial neck.

I really hope full affinity levels are way more interesting though. Dave's talk of full metal Elodie being the stuff of nightmares, gives me hope.

8 leaders times 9 affinity changes plus 8 base clothes is 80 possible variations. Give them a break, guys.

I can't stop thinking it'll be hell to mod in new factions properly, if 10 variations of the same leader have to be produced for each new entry.

I think the problem is that everything looks a bit to thick, to clumsy to cartoonish, and harmony looks far to alike supremacy. I think the harmony leaders should have weird alien eyes, webs between their fingers, maybe scales, look more like mutants...

As you said earlier, it's a minor feature, and therefore given the large amount of possible variants, would you really expect a monumental effort? Maybe it'd have been better to have less but more detailed stages, but it seems they wanted to portray a gradual change. At any rate, we've yet to see the final affinity appearances, which might differ considerably from the base image.

I'd expect a level of effort commensurate with the degree to which they hyped the feature, which was not insignificant. That's all.

Like the Great Mistake, I think that will be left up to us. In my mind, she'd be one of the first survivors of primitive cryogenic sleep experiments and had been sleeping in an icebox most of that time.
