Leader appearance by affinity

Maybe on that note, one could mod the appearance of current sponsors.
Beyond tinkering with the textures, that's no small amount of work.

You can't see your own leader, so there's not much point in customizing him or her.

I also prefer this version of the leaders without backgrounds. The separate leader screen only served to pull you out of the game; I think it's much better to have them just superimposed on the main map. It's the best of both worlds between Civ IV and Civ V.

The Mincraft iron armor on Supremacy Barre makes me actually laugh

Someone else is following you through the cold and empty space...

This remind me of the old Civilization 3 where the leaders have a different outfit on each and every tech era that you have reached.

Now if only we have the ability to customize our appearance of our leaders again like civilization 3, be able to customize the animation, and be able to add in a voice if nessessary, this will really motivate the people who love to make new civilizations, and hopefully inspire people to make total conversions and see their wonderful abilities.

I remember thinking that was a nifty feature but a lot of the leaders looked goofy out-of-age. Especially modern Joan of Arc and Elizabeth. I remember liking Theodora's portraits.

Note: it is hard to notice but level3 Harmony gives to the character a slightly violet/blue eye color while the Supremacy level3 affinity gives them glowing yellow eyes.

Lame. Just lame, all lame. Same outfit no matter what affinity, with different colors. If I'm to judge how diffirently people went with "what means to be human" and all that dramatic crap, based on the leaders, I'd say it's a grand ideological battle of colors.

Otherwise they're the same, some prefer a bluetooth set to go with their black, some prefer a more fancy bluetooth set, others dislike bluetooth altogether for good reason, as they think it's stupid to go around with bluetooth sets in an age of such technological advancement, they can build warp gates.

:dunno:

Yeah, they don't look unique or weird enough, except maybe some of the full Supremacy ones.
Yeah, it really feels like Elodie and Harmony in general got the short end of the stick. Purity staying unchanged very much feels in line what it is. Supremacy's dark greys and face "frames" work well, in general.

Harmony's "tubes" on the temple? That feels lame. A bit of a shame, because I think less subtle changes to the texture itself could've worked already (greenish hue, perhaps organic patterns like scales or something along these lines on the hands).
