Wouldn't giving people the full map give them an unfair advantage in the main NES?

im not planning on modding anything until i get back the states (im back home now and comp access is rather low)
but i am planning an alt history of sorts where i would start from either around start or finish of the Lengel invasion or before the fall Veritas (before the actual war with the CRA or during it)
either i would change the outcome or some things to change the winner or start it from their and see how the actual players change the outcome (if any)
but i don't think ill be actually coming back to play in this NES, other than writting small stories when i feel like it on the Gorin (my nation!)

Very interested in more of a Vertias Alt. History. The Lengels I would likely end up as a vassal if they win

OOC: Personally speaking, I don't think there should be any alt-hist. No offense, but I don't think any mod can "replace/equal" iggy and his/her modding of a LINESII nes would simply be disappointing or etc...
You know Kentharu may not be as good as Iggy but I think this game is not only Iggy but all of those who participated. It has grown so large seperate games I think based on the original can exist and be good. Of course it depends on the new mod.
Plus, Iggy will be able to help them with the Alt. History and advising them on updates. There will always be a little of Iggy magic in the new NES.

OOC: Actually, my personal beliefs on the matter more like revolves around kentharu being privy to the rest of the map as well as all the other plot elements and etc.

I'd be happy to have someone carry on this world's legacy should I falter, which I am at the moment.
Due to the impending long hiati (hiatuses?) of this NES in the future, I feel a kind of hopelessness.
Not that I plan to end this, of course, but Kentharu may prove to be a more consistent updater. XD
