LINESII- Into the Darkness

Nurmafer will be given equal aid to Khemri, of course.

*secret*

From: Veritas
To: Kehexou

Let's just compromise on this for now. Honestly, you'll have almost as much influence there as Khemri. If the Tekrehexans truly wish to be with you, they will tell Khemri.

*secret*

The offer is not Gorin's to accept or refuse. The leaders of Khemri have agreed to our proposal, so it will be done. Though if the Varidas (Wardash) nations wish to aid in the rebuilding of Khemri and Nurmafer, they are welcomed to do so.

OOC: Considering that the leaders of the Khemri are under the control of the "Great" Veritas nation I doubt anything they agree to can be considered "just" ;) Amazing how roles change as I do remember you criticizing the most powerful nation (FK) and how now you are the most powerful nation :p

Gah! Apparently I have a corneal ulcer, whatever that is. :( So while I put various painful medicines in my eyes to kill it, I might be posting a bit less until it's gone.

CC: All allied nations

A: We have entered into negotiations with the Khemran governmental leaders, and have settled our differences and come to a common agreement. The result is the Treaty of Khaso:

1. The Empire of Khemri is no more. The monarchy is disbanded, and the leadership of Khemri calls on King Rhama Khemr IV to abdicate.

2. In its place, the Republic of Khemri will be formed, with a temporary capital at Khaso. Until order and stability are established, it will be under temporary military occupation by Veritas.

3. The Republic of Khemri will withdraw from Nurmafer.

4. Now and forever, Khemri acknowledges and recognizes Kehexou and Nurmafer to be equal powers.

5. Veritas will help Khemri to build the capital of New Khadon on the site of the former city.

6. The Province of Tekrehexou, having both Kehex and Khemran cultures, will be returned to Khemri from Kehexou. However, it will be granted limited autonomy and freedom of religion within Khemri.

This is the final agreement. Veritas calls upon Gorin and Shalamari to leave, and let peaceful rebuilding begin. If necessary, we will expel any monarchist forces that refuse to surrender.

OOC: Iggy, please post to acknowledge the Khemran leaders acceptance of this proposal, thanks.

Here is Shalamari's response to the Veritasian plan.

A: We question the legitimacy of Veritas' so called compromise. The desperate voices of a group of hostages can hardly be counted as the true intentions and wishes of Khemri. Also, we are reluctant at best to allow Veritas to occupy Khemri for the duration of the restoration. Still, the situation calls for a quick solution, and we are obliged to agree with this. However, delegates from Shalamari will be present to ensure that Veritas does not try to turn Khemri into their puppet state.

1: We agree to this. Representative government is the best in the long run. It is only a change for the better, and should by all means be promoted.

2: Again, the same as above. Agreed, so long as delagates from the Wardash nations are allowed to monitor the rebuilding process.

3: Naturally, agreed.

4: Up to Khemri.

5: The rebuilding should be paid for mainly by Veritas. Shalamari is still aggrieved by this atrocity...

6: Up to Khemri.

I meant my map at home.

I made the colour more of a light olive so that it's not the same colour as a religious center.

I think we have to wait for kalthy to respond in that treaty. However I doupt he will accept...

Btw Thayli we must talk on MSN before you make any new treaties/proposals.

Well, this isn't exactly a treaty Kal'thzar signed. As the monarchy is now obselete, Rhama Khemr IV will abdicate, and be allowed a nice house in Sempronia.

@Shalamari: We will assist the Khemrans in rebuilding their capital. You and Gorin should do the same for Nurmafer, though...

OOC: No MSN on this computer, sorry. But I'll have it in...3 hours.

Yeah, but King rhama can just declare his family as traitors and continue the fight. Which is much more likely than that he would willingly give away his empire.

@Thlayli: But of course.

Orders sent!

The nefarious ones this time? :D

Perhaps... :mischief:
