Why do I feel peace can only be secured if you pull out? Khemri hasn't agreed to the terms yet, and I do indeed believe that Veritas & Co. will only seek to spread their religion and common interests if they are given such a wide open oppertunity to do so. Why do you seek to occupy Khemri at all? Surely you can see that it will only provoke the people and cause countinual warfare?
 
Veritas will not pull out until the Republic of Khemri is established and secure. The majority of the former Khemran leadership has agreed to our terms, the only exception being the errant Prince Rhama Khemr IV. We will enforce our declaration in restoring peace, through force if necessary.

Withdrawing would leave Khemri to the tyrannical hands of the Khemr dynasty, which has oppressed Kehexou and Nurmafer too long. It is time the people of Khemri have a say in their government.
 
What you say bears wisdom. It is past time that a republic was formed in Khemri. Still, you must keep in mind that the monarchy is holy in Khemri, and it will rock the very foundations of Khemrian religion if it is removed... Oh. I get it. It's one of your great schemes to spread the Church of the One, right? Again, you try to conceal your true motives. When will you live up to the truth that you worship as one of the three great maxims? Is Veritas nothing but a powerhungry plotting giant, bent on ruling us all?

That's beside the point. The real issue here is Veritas trying to expand his control into the vicinity of Wardash. This agressive policy, plus the lack of respect for a culturally distinguished nation such as Khemri, is what frustrates Shalamari the most. Aside from that, many Shalamari Officers are still devout followers of Crystalism, which kind of makes the gap even bigger. :/

SS, how many times have I told you that Veritas won't annex an inch of land, or convert anyone against their will? Honestly, we're establishing the Republic, restoring an acceptable peace, and leaving. Where we impose our power is our own business. Khemri was once an empire, and it is now a Republic. The Khemran people will elect a...well...whatever they call it, and they can burn us in effigy for all we care.

But we will build New Khadon, which is more than your usual world-conquering enemy offers.
 
We will see. That is all I'm saying. I would prefer Khemri as it is, rather than a republic that shattered their religion. And you keep using terms like "occupy" and "enforcing" like you were the friggin' U.S. of A. It really is annoying. For now, I will take a passive stance. If this war continues, it is not due to Shalamari agression. (but perhaps suspicion ;)) Observe:

Veritas will remove their military from Khemri if ti wishes to have peace or this war will go on till the end of time. Anthi Oborski IV advises you to cease yoru current quest for "peace" or it will acheive nothing but war, Veritas has no say in it. End of Discussion.

ooc this will take only 1 post ok? if you continue to try and turn Khemri into a republic puppet then you will be attacked, you may come up with another solution that will involve both the Wardash and Veritas taking part in the reforming of Khemri or simply remove yourself and let pre-war borders be re-established the latter would be more advised
 
Look, what Veritas wanted with this war was to save Nurmafer. Or so they said. Possibly, Tekrehexou had something to do with it, but that is nothing to fight a war over now. Anyway, with Nurmafer already preparing for the exodus, and Veritas faced with the ultimatum, the "treaty" Thlayli proposed is kind of invalid. Not that it changes anything for me, since I've given my choice up to Kalthy. But if Veritas really wants peace (above a semi-free Tekrehexou or whatever) they will pull out. Or put up a new solution.

Hmm... Iggy, OOC wise is there any deposits of shiny metal around Guangfei ;) And you know, the penguins should start sending more horses this world instead of hogging it for their evil experimentations :p
