This may seem so obvious that you have figured it out by now... did you try clicking on the icons in the top left? If you click on the "wild" icon, it will only show the palace moving options. Click on the economic icon and it shows only the economic options. Etc.

Here is a screenshot of (1) the end screen showing half of the legacies I earned in exploration, (2) what I see when the next age starts, (3) clicking on the individual icons and showing there are no options. I have no mods installed at all.

What exactly are "uncultivated rural tiles" for the Grocer?

It doesn't add up, hence my question.

Here, the Grocer gives 4 (base) +3 (Expansionist Attribute Point) +8 (Improvements) = 15 -> nothing for uncultivated rural tiles, while there are a lot of them.

There, the Grocer gives 4 (base) +3 (Expansionist Attribute Point) +8 (Improvements) = 15 -> +3 for uncultivated rural tiles, while the only ones left are for Woodcutters and Mines (the orange is for tiles of neighboring settlements).

I think it means Rural tiles (by definition they have an improvement... that's what makes them a Rural tile).. but they are not "Cultivated"... so probably things like the Expedition base improvement that is on Mountains and Natural Wonders

That's an interesting idea... however I've none of these things in the second example.
Here is an example with a 4-tiles Natural Wonder, the Grocer gives 4 (base) +3 (Expansionist Attribute Point) +2 (Improvements) = 9 -> +1 for uncultivated rural tiles, while there are 4 Expedition Bases.

Do you mind giving me the 101 on these? I'm only a few games in (AA only) and to me it seems rather straightforward in setting them up by moving to Trader into the intended "target city" to establish a route. But there is nothing much to it (in this age maybe)? Or are you referring to the added resources the trade routes provide?

Yeah nothing deep here from me--I haven't played enough to know a best way to do things. Yeah the resources aren't very balanced (camels seems too good and some of them do essentially nothing) but it is just more engaging with less busywork "renew route" etc. for me. I find myself more interested in doing things with it than just clicking on the route that gives the most +gold. The diplomacy side effects seem more impactful to me too. I won't argue with anyone that thinks that there's too much hidden information and confusion in the interface, but I believe that will come with time.

Is there a way to see what improvements will be placed on the tiles when you are not growing the city? Often trying to decide settlement placement or if I should build saw pit or brickyard and can't always remember which terrain goes with what improvement

I wish you could choose to move your capital to any settlement.

At the moment it gives you two quite arbitrary options, regardless of whether they were cities or not in the previous age…

Cheers, I agree that trade might tie in nicely with diplomacy, more than in previous titles. But I haven't played enough to really have a good grasp on it. For my first couple of games I pretty much defaulted into going for the military path as that seemed most straightforward.

And you know, there *is* already a convenient UI feature for such a purpose... the Trade Route pop-up box! If they base it off of the version from the Modern Age (where you can just click on a City and then hit the "Confirm" button at the bottom to exit the menu), it would work perfectly.

What are modern luxuries? I have a quest to get 8 modern luxuries. I have pretty much access to all resources on the map and also have several factories with different resources equipped, but I'm stuck at 1/8.

I haven't looked into an alternate method, but you can see them by clicking the "lens" above the minimap. Select the "continent" view. The resources will be listed and highlighted on the map.

Uncultuvated means; Not used for growing crops.

So Grocer should add 1 food to Mines, Quarries, Expedition Sites, Camps and Woodcutters.

It should probably just save space and say "+1 Food to all rural tiles" but I might be forgetting some edge case or something.... the game is still new

Except it does not, as per the examples I've given. And it would make the Ironwork useless.
I'm still unable to make a working theory of what that means.

[Edit] Example 1 has 1 Woodcutter and 1 Mine, but +0 for uncultivated.
Example 2 has 1 Woodcutter, and +3 for uncultivated.
Example 3 has 4 Expedition Bases, 2 Mines and 1 Clay Pit/Kasbah, and +1 for uncultivated.
