Great update! =D

Nice update. Tentatively claiming The Caribbean Empire, but I'll have to wait until the stats are up to decide.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Coincidentally, the stats are up, (Agent) so please check and see if I've made any mistakes. I'm sure I have. :P

Your offer is rejected. This is land our grandfathers have fought and died for. We shall do the same.

We are not cold hearted mind you. We fear for civilian casualties, should the fighting continue to the extent it did in the year past. Please take care of them.

From: Federation of Columbia

We are willing to offer peace what are your terms? If they are favorable we shall accept if not we are glad to keep killing your soldiers.

OOC: Zelet, Kozmos has expressed interest in playing the Chita Republic. Should he not make an appearance anytime soon, I'll answer your diplo.

I'm working on the front page now. As I said, stats are up. Just adding some wars and such.

So the Pope finally shows his true colors now. England shall rise from its ashes again, and the mighty lion will be victorious!

To: Scotland, Wales
From: England

While we had our differences in the past, look at the USE. They attacked us soley because we have a different religion. If we do not come together, if we do not say "No" to Religious Imperalism right now in unsion, the Pope will take us down one by one while we're weak. United Albion stands, divided Albion falls!

We helped each other during the war. Do not listen to the lies of the Pope, friend. Please stay neutral in this conflict.

From: Wales, Scotland
To: England

Before we commit ourselves to anything, we'd like to take some time to see both sides of the story. We are disgusted at the USE's blatant lack of respect for human lives, but aren't willing to risk our people to fight for you just yet.

To: England
From: Ireland

We have no interest in getting involved for the sake of either side.

Warsaw Trade Conference

The Polska Imperium welcomes representatives of the states of Novgorod, Prussia, Sweden, and Baltic Commonwealth to come for trade talks. These talks would include the possibilities of creating a trading bloc between the Baltic trading partners, standardizing harbor regulations across the Baltic to make trading in the region simpler for merchants, and other minor issues.

Parade of Glory

The Parade of Glory was held on the great ones birthday. The astounding parade featured the First and Second Imperial Legions, as well as floats from the United Imperial Metal Works, the Kharkov Mining Conference, and the Polska Manufacturing Guild. The great parade marched down Emperor Boulevard past the Imperial Palace, under the triumphal arch.

And when is "ready"? When England is destroyed, and your people lined up for the next bombing? War requires sacerfices, but we'll have less devestation then if we let the Pope have his way. Also, you see what happening in London, Plymoth, and Cambridge. Nothing but hatred to Protestants, whom before the invasion were the majority. What makes you think it'll be any different for the residents in Cardiff or Gaslow? We need to stand together, and we need to stand now.

o.O Are we serious? An outright attack by a bunch of NPCs, right off the bat? What the hell ever.

We are not ready to promise any support to your cause before we hear what the USE has to say. This is a fair train of thought. Why should we risk our cities to bombing, and inflame this fight even more? We know not your conflict with the pope. We've had our own with him before. Besides, an agreement like this shouldn't be achieved in such a public forum.

Yes. We are interested in hearing what you have to say. We shall attend.

Maybe my information is out of date, or whatever, but 2 NPCs embarked on a completely offensive war (without player provocation) against the same player country to help a different player country on turn 1. This is unprecedented in the history of NES.

What? No it isn't, that's happened to me loads of times. More than I care to count.

Link me. Remember, without you instigating war, you have to have been attacked by at least 2 NPCs and a player. Turn 1.

Well I instigated this war you know.

DisNES France, first turn was attacked by the combined forces of the Holy Roman Empire, Aragon, Genoa, Papal States, Iberia, and for some reason I still don't understand Scandinavia. The Papal States and Genoa were NPC's. At some point Burgundy and Navarre were also involved.

I don't know about that NES. I'm guessing France was some serious threat to everyone's security, in which case it would be understandable. I bet the NPCs were openly hostile, too, which would have made a difference in my attitude right now.

My last thought before I quit spamming the thread is this: Imagine the kind of havoc I could have wreaked back in the day if I could get the mods to win my wars for me. If I could persuade NPCs to join me on offensive wars, which I very rarely had to, it had to be done on the thread. These days I guess the victor is the one that talks to the mod the most. Hat's off to you. I've ruined whatever slim chance of victory I had by spamming angry bull mess, thus making our apparently Unified States of America predjudiced god-mod undoubtably angry.

EDIT- I played a napoleonic NES as france where I was ganged up on serious even by NPCs, too, but damn... Everyone starts equally on this NES, more or less... I was just as much threat to my neighbors as the next neighbor.

Conflict in the East
The Great War rages on in the east, with the forces of various unworthy and barbaric "nations" taking it upon themselves to exercise some sort of mockery of warfare against each other for tribal sport. This massive but primitive ritualistic bloodletting has unfortunately spilled over to the Persian Mandate. From his Strategic Command Center deep beneath the capitol, it has been the honor of the State News Network to bring to you, male/female/unidentified viewer, the words and wisdom of Supreme Military Commander, Alexandros Dzensky.

<Interviewer> Supreme Commander, I must say, this is an impressive facility.

<Supreme Commander Alexandros Dzensky> Thank you, State News Network employee. It is an honor to have been granted these amenities by Her Indubitable Glory and Majesty, Empress Theodora III. I have been briefed by my underlings that you are here to inquire as to our plans to deal with those tribal primitives who have established settlement around the Caspian Sea?

<Interviewer> This is true, Commander. Our viewers assuredly sit on the edge of their seats awaiting the wise illumination of your words.

<Alexandros Dzensky> You do me too much honor. The answer, employee of the State News Network, is quite simple. Forces of Her Indubitable Glory, Empress Theodora III of the Byzantines will be dispatched to deal with them with much haste. There will be many explosions.

<Interviewer> Engrossing. This has been State News Network Employee Number 4391. Any last words before we break, Supreme Commander?

<Alexandros Dzensky> Always remember to take your State-Issued medication in moderated amounts; and whatever you do don't try to combine it with your State-Issued carbonated drink.

<Interviewer> Thank you for those kind and wise words, Commander.

The Empress' Grand Jubilee
Her Indubitable Glory, Empress Theodora III of the Byzantines (all hail), is of an undisclosed age. While jubilant citizens filled the streets of Constantinople, Her Indubitable Glory dined in a bunker an undisclosed amount of miles underground accompanied by her faithful pets, komodo dragons Rip and Tear. Despite the sacred and glorious quality of this occasion, some malcontents were among those who filled the streets for the Empress' Jubilee. State News Network Employee Number 3215 has been granted access to the trial of one of these malcontents, who is of an undisclosed age, sex and name.

<Judge> Let this court come to order. The defendant, Prisoner Number 251 of the Constantinople Correctional Facility, is accused of obstructing the peace during Her Indubitable Glory, Empress Theodora III's (all hail), Grand Jubilee. Defense?

<Lawyer for the Defense> The defendant pleads guilty.

<Judge> The defendant is hereby sentenced to death. Bailiff, please stamp the defendant with the mark "Death Row Inmate Number 341." Thank you.

<Correspondent> What a chilling and gripping demonstration of justice. This has been State News Network Employee Number 3215.

Have a Good Day/Afternoon/Evening Male/Female Viewer. This was State News Channel 7. All hail the Empress.
