LK101, Diety, World Map, Civ=TBD

I wouldn't mind considering a Songhai invasion in addition to Siberia - not immediately perhaps, but in the near future. I think we will be strong enough to handle two fronts and it halves the distance to the farthest civs.

That site would primarily use airports to get units to support it - after an initial batch of Artillery and Armies.
 
I'm back. I have a dead mouse problem but hope to get that resolved shortly. (Like tonight or tomorrow)
Nice progress. I will be looking forward to possibly clearing some of those annoying aztec islands out on my turns.
A bunch of cruise missles and a marine or two makes very short work of those annoying 1 city islands with flak.

Why are you talking flak? I don't know if anyone has flak yet.
 
Anyone know what SG it was where they were flipping all the cities with propaganda campaigns? India controls both sides of the straits, and I'm wondering if that's an option here.

We currently lack cruise missles and marines as well. That was a semi-random comment for future planning. In solo games, I have found that a stack of warships, 4-6 tall, 5-7 cruise missles and 3-4 marines make short work of those really annoying 1 and 2 tile islands.
The ships bombard first, then the missles, which can be lethal, and are very nice at ridding ToW's and Mechs, leaving the low defense units for the marines. Flaks are usually the lowest defense unit on an island. It looks like it will require a technological miracle to get us that far by my turnset, but I will try and set up a transport or two to help clear the Caribbean.
Also I didn't see a report on our progress of library building, both for self research and helping our really poor culture rating.

Microbe already parked 3 transports in the area, so I should have the three Aztec towns in that area cleared before you're up.
 
There are 2 transports in range of the island on west side too btw.. and there are no 1 tile islands on this map as far as I have seen

Unless I made a mistake somewhere there are NO 1 tile islands...
They had an annoying habit of keeping junk civs around. I prefer to be able to see a civ dead.
 
Sitrep: Turn 5-Now in sole possession of North American mainland, except for one annoying Aussie town. Bay of Pigs redux coming up.
 
One thing I'll throw out to the team, India and China are up flight. India has AW. Two safe steals failed, but spies are still under cover. Do we just want to trade for flight at least? There are some annoying Aztec frigates I wouldn't mind bombing.

Have to check, but I tend to doubt it.

Maybe we just wait and see if Babylon picks up flight. By then maybe India has MT and we can do some better horse trading.
 
It looks like my turns will be for setting up greebley to go ape on someone, so I will do my dangdest to get defense on the coast, Maximized city productions etc.
I would not trade, only steal. I like stealing. We can try and steal 6 times for the price of 1 trade. If we are declared on, big whoop. We are pretty solidily in control on our hemisphere.
Rather than all bombers, we may want a destroyer or 4 for all of those annoying frigates.

I agree it is time to build the coastal defenses starting with the strongs cities in South America. Since we now control North America we should be able to start freeing up the infantry that was defending along the front. I would switch our military builds to heavy infantry until we have 2 good defenders in all coastal cities.

Well I will give you a subtle hit - MONGOLIA! :hammer: :ar15: :sniper:

That will set up the Siberian shuttle nicely. Artillery can't be airlifted, but Siberia can get a lot of artillery over there quickly. Having furs near the landing zone is a very nice bonus. :D
 
As far as stealing goes, I normally do immediate unless I'm afraid of war. But watch out for marines (and India is still buying Oil from us).

Also, it might be wise to make peace with Mongols and MA vs China as soon as we get a clear road to China (and capture the Mongol city with our 4th lux).
 
I am finally starting to catch up on reviewing my SGs. This cold still has me somewhat screwed up after several days. :(

Please DON'T trade Oil with India anymore. I don't want to help them to start buildings bombers and tanks to fight us with. No amount of cash is worth it at this point. The last deal wasn't great, but with them now having units I really don't want to fight...

Now that we are starting to plan on getting to the other continent it is time to start getting rid of all these phony wars. I see no reason to fight Russia as an example.

The below is what I am talking about for the Siberian shuttle. Remember that transports move 8 on the world map. The transports stay in yellow dot until needed. A destroyer checks the white line path each turn in case of subs. You can load in yellow dot, unload in red dot, and return to yellow dot. We will be able to shuttle troops quite fast even without airports.

I am glad to see all the temples in construction in North America. We will need these to help our abysmal culture rating and to push toward domination.

I do have a request to slow down settler construction in some of the larger towns. An example would be Atlanta. At size 10 with some mining this city can get productive quickly. We want to start building the steamroller effect. Getting more towns on military will really help.

I am not sure if M60A3TTS did anything on this, but I would like to eliminate that annoying Australian city on the American west coast.


Now that we own America it is time to clean up the over packed cities. Communism really works best with OCP. At least one city in the white box will be abandoned on my turn if they still exist. The communal corruption number can eventually collapse our productivity if the empire gets to large. I don't want to waste our corruption count for cities that can't make it above size 6.
