Got it. May start tomorrow, maybe not. Feel free to comment. Sounds like major settler production effort and a Mongol sweep will put us into the Winner's Circle.

Remember 5 to 10 turns per round - STRICT 24 hours got it, total 48 hours to at complete. Once the game starts dragging 48 hours to at least report a status update.
 
Now on turn 3. Africa is pretty much built out now as I focused on a lot of settlers and drafted some Tows for quick temples.

11 turn alliance still in effect with the Mongols. We could win this pretty quickly, but unless I can get him to declare, which I don't know will happen, then Romeo will put this one to bed.

The speed of the conquest has been unreal this last couple of rounds. It sounds like M60 A3TTS will go just as far. Gaining 6% of the world in 5 turns is unreal with the world map. The good news is we are getting close for percentage of population. We have hit 60%. There is no question that the territory percentage is what will delay this game.

One thing to watch is India passed 100K in culture. China and Babylon are good offsets to that. Australia is a decent counter-balance. As longs as we leave Australia alone the risk of a loss by 100K is zero.
 
Actually M60, don't feel bad if you want to put this one down. I have no problem if you want to do the takedown of the mongols. The progress looks really good.
 
Preturn- switch a bunch of builds to settlers.

IBT- India lands settler pair in SE Asia. Mongols immediately kill it. Start all new builds on settlers except for Iron Works. Murmansk flips to China.

Turn 1- Recapture Murmansk defended by regular air defense along with 354 gold. Draft a number of Tows to speed up temple production.

IBT- Calcutta flips to India. UN vote offered, and turned down.
Turn 2- Recapture Calcutta. Africa filling out rapidly. Mongols have 2-3 towns there, but that’s it. We have a tank army in Japan.

IBT- Australia joins India against us. Australia also declares on Russia. A town flips to Babylon. New Shanghai flips to Mongols. Anyang flips to China and we lose the transport and escort with which we had the Japan water shuttle established. India starts SETI in New Bombay. Doubt they’ll finish it in our lifetime. China bombing our tank army in Japan.


Turn 3- We get 33 gold re-capturing the Babylonian flip, but it auto-razes. Get 354 gold with Anyang getting re-captured. Declare on Greece. Tank army in Japan whittling down defenders, but down to 8hp.

IBT- Our Army hit by bombing runs in Japan

Turn 4- Ephesus taken from Greece. Halicarnassus falls and Greece is out. Switch Tver to transport and rush with some artillery disbands. Get Greenland settled. Blow Indian capital of New Delhi down from pop 12 and improved to a shell of a size 1. Also redline a few ships. Declare on Germany.

IBT- More bombing of our army in Japan.

Turn 5- Cav army captures Dortmund for 220 gold. Army razes Indian capital of New Delhi and get 31 gold. Destroy Nippur (Babylon) for 9 gold. Our depleted army kills a guerilla in Japan but is down to 3hp. Songhai capital of Tendirma taken out.

IBT- Our Japanese army is bombed away. :(

Turn 6- Settle 2 towns vic of the English channel and rush buy some transports with artillery disbands. Plan to have Germany, Songhai and Russia eliminated in 2 turns.
We have 45 settlers built now, so should be adequate for the upcoming Mongol war. :)

IBT- Quiet

Turn 7 Dijon falls (Germany) to cav army for 240 gold. Novosibirsk nets us 300 from Bismarck. The invasion of the British Isles begins. Three tank armies land to take out Iroquois, Songhai and Russia next turn. Sink a redlined Indian frigate with a bomber. End RoP with Mongols.

IBT- Nothing of note.

Turn 8: Russia, Songhai, Iroquois, and Germany are destroyed. :p
Tell Mongols to get off our lands and they declare. :lol:

Samarra, Athens (MGL), New Ashur, Arkhangel’sk, Berlin (MGL), Paris, Orleans, Novogorod, Corinth are taken, effectively Europe is ours.

Discover Mongol town of Gwandu in Africa has a lot of Mongolian tanks, about half his supply of 80+. Blow about 20 away. And calling it a night. Will resume tomorrow. Should be over by turn 10, but we'll see.

Turn 8 continued-

Verify no one has a marine, so time to empty the coastal garrisons. Tours taken. Abandon Novogorod, Corinth, Arkhangl’sk. Try to garrison what I can and expect about a dozen towns to still get captured, but we’ll see. 616 tiles to win.

IBT- The lost city count is closer to 15, including Fort Greebley flipping to the Aztecs. Now 844 to the limit. Mongols at 63 tanks.

Turn 9-

And now it’s time for serious killing.

Gwandu is taken out, along with the other two Mongol towns in Africa. All their African troops are eliminated as well. Take Fort Greebley back.

Next step, take out the Mongol holdings in Western Russia. Build a number of cities after leveling a few.

Focus also on killing Mongol tanks. They lose 38 this turn, now down to 25. Now back down to 485 tiles to win.

IBT- Mongols sweep east and capture a bunch of towns again. My bad,I had over-fortified those in the west and left too many naked, but none have cultural expansion.

Turn 10- Draft 3 boatloads of TOW conscripts. Kill 25 Mongol tanks, so now they have 3. Fill in Scandanavian territories. 247 tiles to go.

IBT- We lose no cities this time

Turn 11- Time for the end:

Roll through enough cities in Central-Eastern Russia to put us over the limit once we use up the last settler. Pack in the garrisons and hope there are no flips. Mongols went back up to 10 tanks, so kill all but 3-4. Hit enter.

Some units get captured, but no big deal. And…

When it says 368 hours to play the game, you know it was a larger then normal game.

I don't think so. This is one of the reasons I hate defiance. I saw to many games with defiance suffer with this problem.
 
Yay we finished.
I think that all the wars helped this team. With the exception of LK, we were/are a pretty bloodthirsty crew.
Militirestic was a good choice for civ trait with this crew.

I will now officially retire from World Map games. They are just too big.

Actually on my turns 2 times ago, we were paying unit support in Commie.
Once we decided to bust out, then there was no catching up.
 
Nice game guys.
It has inspired me to play my own LK WM game solo as Argentina. I just scrambled the resources and took off. It's a lot of fun.
 
Good game. I think I'll not only retire from WM games, but also CIV3 as a whole. There is just nothing really interested left and I'm looking forward to CIV4. Hope it won't disappoint me.

I also can see some people have a much faster computer than mine.
