Loading other peoples games

Hi - first post after years of lurking. Trying to mke myself as unpopular as possible by asking utterly n00b questions.

I've been a Civ player for years and years and a CivFanatics lurker for almost as long. After a recent computer upgrade I finally decided to upgrade to BUG and shadow a game... so I did the folllowing.

1) In Civ IV BTS (compete edition) clicked "updates" and updated to BTS3.19

2) Followed link to BUG 4.1 and downloaded.

3) Got very excited about all the new stuff.

4) Clicked the link on the forums to the Atlantis Worldbuilder: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=338493

5) Clicked "open" -and it downloaded to some temporary internet folder.

6) Clicked and dragged file to WB folder in Windows (Vista, I'm afraid).

7) Opened Civ and looked in WB folder for save. It wasn't there.

I'm sure this stuff is really obvious to the Vets, but I'm a complete idiot when it comes to anything other than double-clicking an icon. An idiot's guide would be very much appreciated.

(I don't even know how to include screenshot, sorry......)

Welcome to the posting side

I don't feel like downloading and opening the zip files in that link: is this a WB save or just a save file (i.e. what is its file extension)? I guess its a WB save in which case you need to open it with load a scenario instead of loading a save.

Glad it works - and don't feel for asking - thats what the forums are there for
