You don't speak like one only thinking of a defensive pact. We used metaphors, you came back with insults. We hope that Greece does not act the way she conducts diplomacy. If you truly wished to prove it was merely a defensive pact, perhaps you shoud be a bit more wary in your choise of words. Most nations do not like being implicated as aggressors when they have no shown nothing to fulfill that description. Tread softly.

You cannot deny that tensions in our region have been rising. We did not specify you when pursueing an alliance. The Serbs are also a threat to Greece. That diplomacy was not even addressed to you but intercepted and made into a threat to Turkey. If you say we are the aggressors here you are turning a diplomatic move into something much larger then it is. We understand you using a metaphor but the way you used it was irresponsible and insulting. You tried to paint our alliance as one of aggression but we are merely seeking a defensive pact. Also, do not tell us to tread softly we will stand up for Greece and what we believe his best for her National Interests. That is all if we misunderstood your metaphor then we apologize but we will not be told that a defensive pact with any nation is an attempt to recreate Alexander's Empire.

Our mentioning was in response to the rising tensions in the region. We apologize if we offended your nation be specifically mentioning it. Turkey and Greece have long been bitter enemies and we did not fully think out the consquences of our statement.
