Well, I thought that idea of having 3-4 knights to defend our home island is not that bad as we almost have no defence.

Move stack near aarhus into the jungle to get the worker and a defencive bonus for the counter strike. Leave one or both galleys near Ningo to transport left over beserkers to the north quicly.

In general stavanger should not have build the library now, we're ahead in science and didn't need it, do nead a baracks. But switching would have wasted over 20 shields so rushed it, would have rushed Molde too, but no money. Same goes for Grand River, would have preffered units from it not a duct.
Also the cities on the tiny islands have cost us more then they will even yield back. Could have gotten 3 spear or archer for those 2 settlers and bigger cities.
Bergen will stop growing after this beserk so put in a settler for the gap north of Molde (or transport it to the Island south of the one stockholm is on (with a spear and some beserks), claim the salpeter and take out chinese on that island too.
The 2 islands to the west should be ours after the next turnset, I think. Then regroup and move on to chinese mainland, they have got 2 luxes, we won't need any culture buildings if we've got those.

It is going to take Astronomy to get that and we are researching Chemistry....:confused:

Delay the action with the Chinese until I have more boats and Berserks.

Get the fleet built up and two more boatloads of axe swingers in place before declaring on China.

Then take Ningpo in 1060 and Aarhaus in 1070 but lose a berserk. The Golden Age starts in 1060 with a zerk victory at Ningpo.With the start of the GA turn up the heat on the scientists for Chemistry in 6.

Reorganize the healthy and wounded in Aarhus, fight off a Chinese counter attack of archers and maces, while the healthy 'zerks sail north and take two more towns, Chinan in 1080 and Anyang in 1090. Anyang is the Chinese iron source.

The healthy 'zerks and a cople of boatfuls are positioning for the next coastal town on the island. There are two helathy zrks doing guard duty on the mountain above the inland town. Rush a pike in Stockhom and send him up to provide 'zerk coverage.

The Chinese land two maces at Alesund, the iron town, and since we hold another iron source at Anyang, give the town to the Hittites, who were a one city empire.

And in 1090 I buy a World Map from the Sumerians for 97g hoping it will show us some sea lanes and as near as I can tell the only decent one runs right through Chinese cultural borders east of Kaifeng. There is another one west of Karasjok but it does not connect to our mainland.

Chemistry is coming right along and we may be able to use it to buy our way to Astronomy. The Sumerians are the only ones with Navigation, but keep an eye on possible map trades as other nations learn it also.

I think we need to improve our cities and head full on science to get superior units. Try to get some more luxes. Build couple of more cities: 1 on home continent 1 on tatung island and settle the vulcano island. WEe might need to rush a temple and lib in Chengdu to prevent a flip.
