Mafia/NOTW Statistics

Well, Excel can format data, sure, but I'd still need to actually put that data into the form you all see. So, yes, I can easily type numbers into Excel, but the database contains things other than numbers.

Although the last night featured 1 mafia and 2 townies (normally making it unnecessary), Turquoiside (one of the townies) had a vote-switching ability. Technically, Buddhafish did need to kill him to win.

I'll count him as having not survived the game, but I'm not really sure if that's the right choice.

For D&D 2, what do I count Xenoneb as? He's listed as Mafia Godfather, but there weren't any other mafia, which basically makes him a Serial Killer, unless I'm missing something.

Topsecret and Gone 3 the Celt are both clearly Neutral, but I really don't know what the deal with Xenoneb is.

Anyone who was playing that game: Do you know more about Xenoneb's role than I do? Was he more than just a solo killer?

For Halo Mafia, should I count the Hunters (Double A and Gone 3 the Celt, a townie and a mafia that had a victory condition to escape together- basically, Lovers) as a townie and a mafia, or as neutrals?

The Forerunner cult and the Loyalists are Mafia, and the UNSC and Seperatists are Townies, but I'm not sure about Double A and Gone.
 
Double A was town, and Gone 3 the Celt was mafia. They did have that alternate lovers victory that they both completed.

So ones town, ones mafia, and they both won. Along with the rest of the mafia, who completed their victory condition.
 
That makes sense.

38 games is probably the most in any year, even if I still had the pre-purge threads it would probably be the most.

The Town won way more often last year- It has 50 victories total right now and 23 came last year. Between the purge and the end of 2011, the mafia has 43 victories to the town's 27. Ignoring neutral victories and draws, that means the mafia won 61.4% of the time in that period, while the town won 65.7% of the time in 2012.

I can't really get a good read on 2013 yet, as there are only 6 games. Thus far, as far as I can tell, there are 4 town victories and 2 mafia victories.

Yeah, looking at the roles, your chances of winning seemed pretty damn small.

Also, looking more closely, a couple of guys with protection abilities survived to what I thought was the end, which means Mat actually didn't survive.
 
Definitely unbalanced. The mafia had a member in each group, which allowed them to know that there must be power roles outside the group which meant the two and Joan. No reveal and SouthernKing not being wogged also contributed to it being unbalanced.
