Hey Afforess For the first time in a long time I can't get a single game to load or anything its very weird? this is what it gives me everytime I load ROM-Smartmap script, or Perfect_world.068 script. It don't really matter the size i've tried Large, Standard, Huge.. I don't get it I get this error everytime I click start game it says ... Initializing then all of the sudden I get the problem box :mad: please help!

Are resources supposed to run dry at the same time? I had three copper resources and all dissappered on the same time.

I must insist. Iron and Copper dissappear simultaneous :confused:

It might need further tweaking... in my game the year is 1663 AD and the world seems to have run out of iron. I guess horse carriages will continue to be the preferred method of transport :crazyeye:
 
We did a Industrial era advanced start with Revolutions on and recommended MP setup (fully patched, 1.64, clean install) and right after we set up our cities/infrastructure and pressed "begin" the game immediately OOS... not sure why.

I'll start recording the odds and see if I think they are bad.

The world running out of a resource is not an impossibility however. Remember, you are playing on an alternate planet, with an alternate timeline, with alternate amounts of resources. An Iron-less game would be more difficult for all players and definitely change things up, yes? ;)

MSVCR71.dll has to do with your computer. I suggest re-installing Civ4 BTS.
 
About the resources running out at the same time - I experienced this too. Over the course of about 10 turns, I lost all three of my corn resources. I wasn't going to stand for that, so I went into the worldbuilder and added them back. They all disappeared again within a few turns. I went -back- into the worldbuilder and added them again, and they stayed that time. :lol:

I'm reminded of something... ;)

Does revolutions still break MP as well? We were using recommended MP setup (clean install again as always) and the game goes OOS like 1 or 2 turns in with rev mod in. With rev mod off we went almost 3 hours with no OOS...

Yes and it does. Unfortuantly, I see no chance of that changing in the future. Perhaps with Civ5 it will be MP friendly.
 
hum I have play some MP game with Rev on with close to no OOS.
3 or 4 Human + many AI (rev + barb civ).
And we play with stack attack on !!!!
Archer bombard and more revdcm option on . . .

if you HAVEN'T instaøø "ressource refinement" your Cow should not exhaust.
 
No, I 'm pretty sure that I didn't install "resource refinement"...and can confirm that after check the module directory.

resourse refinement doesn't concern resource depletion at all, it adds new buildings
 
PLEASE KEEP THIS UP! THIS IS THE BEST MODPACK I HAVE EVER PLAYED!

OMG ROM + your tweaks IS PERFECT, KEEP THIS UP (again :P)
