Main Download Information

Yeah I'm still trying to decide on the folder structure; whether to upload one torrent containing every combination of everything available and you select what you want, or seperate torrents for each. probably the first though
still waiting on Zap to ok uping his mod. And i just noticed he is in Finland, so thats why he's never on when I am

That is the entire goal of Culturally Linked Starts. I'm sorry you don't like it; but then don't play with it. I'm not a fan either, but I added it on request. Don't make it into something it is not.
So it's all just a matter of misunderstanding;)
Just curious, have you already worked in redesigning vassalage? Really looking forward to it:goodjob:

well I gave you all the info I had. I checked the folder and it shows the New Dawn document in it. Perhaps thats because the installer worked fine, just the thing that uses java that is supposed to pop up afterward didn't work
I'm going to uninstall the whole thing and redownload ROM (which shouldn't be a problem) and I'll run as admin each time.
As for the accelerator, how do I turn that off?

I don't know if you've gotten a new computer or not, but if you have did you d/l java? It doesn't come with Windows.

A New Dawn 1.72 is out.

Please, Remember to do a clean install. Delete your existing Rise of Mankind folder, get a clean copy of Rise of Mankind 2.9, install the 2.91 patch, then install A New Dawn. Do NOT Install the 2.91 Patch over A New Dawn.

A New Dawn 1.72 New Features:
  • Vincentz Mods
  • Updated Sejon Leaderhead
  • Updated to Better AI v90p

A New Dawn 1.72 Bug Fixes
  • Fixed some CTD bugs

A New Dawn 1.72 isn't a huge change from 1.71, but there are many AI improvements.

thanks a lot afforess, is ROME 3.10 compatible with rom 2.91? i want to install it with AND.

AI improvements!! the best words in the world :goodjob: always thanks, Afforess! especially thanks for updating my request :)

Download and unzip RoM in some folder somewhere for storage.

Download and unzip/overwrite the 2.91 patch over that 2.9 in that place.

Now zip, rar, 7z, 7zip (whatever you use) that final creation.

Now, bingo! You have the RoM2.91 ready to extract to BtS/Mods fresh every time before installing a fresh AND :).

Woo, I go on holiday for a week and come back to a new version of RoM and two of AND! Wow :D

I do the same, just don't bother archiving it. It's only a gig and takes less than a minute that way (using 2 different drives).

God, writing stuff like that always reminds me of my family's first computer, a 40MHZ 386SE which had a whopping 105 (110 official) megabytes of HDD space. It would take over an hour to scan, let alone copy, half of that.

Hold on a sec, gotta take care of something.

You kids over there! Yeah, you! Get off my lawn gosh-darnit! :old:

Right, so where were we?
