What name could we use?I feel like there is an evil irony for Romans to name entire World in Latin, but Italia ended up as Sicilia, the first ever province of Roman Republic. And Eternal Roma city has to be found in Sicilia territory...

Italia, the ancient name of the Italian peninsula, which is also eponymous of the modern republic, originally applied only to a part of what is now Southern Italy.

Might be prudent to just label them Italia Septentrionalis and Italia Meridiana, as one could argue that the south should be Italia because of the above, or that the north should be Italia as it corresponds with the Kingdom of Italy within the Holy Roman Empire and it feels weird to have only half of Italy be Italia.

Here's the suggestions for the last region - South America! Net +3 regions overall.
Don't mind the shadowy lines - that was just me trying to sort out national borders as reference points.
Only Guiana, Amazonia, Paraensis, and Pantanal should be tropical. Brasilia Australis should be grassland-y, and Caatinga should be just a bit drier than that.

yes, it's faster to set up, there are (external to the editor) steps needed to set 10 players.

I think this should finish up the last of the ocean provinces!
Also took the opportunity to smooth out some lines - but feel free to ignore if you prefer the current ones!
Additionally, please note a slight tweak to the Sri Lanka territory name.

Just realized I forgot to note that the X's on my map indicate that I'd recommend removing a mountain at this location

Personally, Annonaria/Suburbicaria feels a little obscure/specific-to-one-particular-time-period to me, but I must say it does fit the region pretty well, so I wouldn't be opposed.
(Semirelatedly, in the interest of smoother borders, maybe give that northern mountain in Sicily/Suburbicaria to Langobardia/Annonaria?)

I tried, but I do prefer the Mediterranean Biome for this mountain.

Looks great! How close did we come to hitting the territory limit, I wonder - it feels like we got pretty close there.

I think with some reshuffling of borders, we could get an extra Upper Mesopotamia (Mesopotamia Superior)/Assyria/Kurdistan province in there that would potentially allow for both Babylon and Assyria to exist. If that would be desirable, I can draw up some potential ideas - I think basically it would entail taking Anatolia/Armenia and turning it into Lydia/Cappadocia/Assyria
Could be difficult, territories are already quite small in the area, but I'm open to suggestions.

Used a different starting picture, but should still hopefully be of use!
Additionally, it should give a bit more space for Hattusa to not be right on the border and equalizes the territory size in the region a bit. Furthermore, it solves the issue of whether or not the Armenia territory contains the Armenian core.
I noticed while doing this that the map appears to be missing Lake Van and/or Lake Urmia. Both might not fit, but one should probably be there - probably best to sort out it out when tile/city naming comes into play, however. The geography here is a little skewed because the Caspian Sea and Persian Gulf don't line up as they do in real life.
