you forget that Islam has a de-facto protection from the orthodox world. when we feel like it or when Iberia somehow cannot finish the war on its own.

How do you work religious spread? Short of assigning every hex a number, (I am using a hex map of Europe), I cant find an easy way. I could cause it to grow a random number of provinces per turn, but... eh.

I roll a number between 1 and 100 for each country. Every time it hits 50 or less, I keep rolling, and stop when it goes above it(it's modified though; +5 if the state is of the missionary faith, +5 if it has a trade agreement with a state that's adopting the missionary faith). I repeat this for every country that nations under say, Christianity, have relations with.

Does Germania have any non-Christian provinces left and how many provinces are non-Protestant?
