The Zulu Empire needs more power. 8 gold is put into recruiting two armies. Zululand now boasts - if it knew of the rest of the world - the most powerful, most numerous army in the world!

5 provinces are claimed.

-Mughal India

18 gold is put into finishing Civ 3.

4.8 gold is used to recruit a military; this is taken from a mixture of income and the treasury.

5 provinces are claimed.

India, now boasting three armies, devotes two to attacks and one to defense in the Pakistani War.

-Amazon

Amazon devotes all money to Civics 3.

I think we've given Arakhor and bestrfc enough time, so...

-Canada

Canada chooses Diplomacy as their Nat'l Focus

Canada invests 10 gold into Civics I.
Canada invests 10 gold into Military I.
Canada invests 10 gold into Infra I.

India has suffered a humiliating domination loss.

All orders locked pending update.

India attacks Pakistan twice

22+0.6 = 22.6. -2% = 22.15

vs. 23. India repulsed!

25.6 - 2% = 25.08

vs. 1. India retakes one province

Rebels attack India

9 vs 24. Lose by default

3 vs. 3. India's bonus makes them lose by default.

India has succeeded in driving the rebels off, but there are dark times ahead...

Singapore attacks the rebels!

18 to 1. Singapore wins.

Incidents

South Sinai has revolted against Nubian rule! Their motives are political in nature; they like the new Nubian state's benefits, but none of its costs. They want less centralisation.

Eastern Nepal has revolted against Mughal rule! They are nationalist and desire independence for the Nepalese people.

Events

Astrakhan has been hit with Flawed Research. The 5 gold they had in Infra 2 has been lost.

Sweden has been hit with a Plague. They cannot claim any provinces this turn.

Announcements:

Revolts will be a bit revamped, a la EU3. Rebels will have specific causes, which will be determined based on circumstancea nd chance. The types are:

-Nationalists will be the most common. They arise in areas you have recently colonised. They desire to be separated. You can grant them independence to end the rebellion. They will want the lands they revolted with, plus half of any captured lands.

-Patriots arise from lands you have taken in war. They desire to be given back to the mother country. You can give the land back if you desire - however, they will want any and all lands you took from their former country, even if they only control one province. Once they get beyond that, they will want half of anything they conquer. Patriots automatically defect their province back to the former controller if it isn't attacked for 5 turns.

-Religious rebels can arise if you border provinces of other faiths. These rebels desire a religious conversion. They convert the province they rise up in, and have a 20% chance of converting any province they conquer. To make peace with them, you must convert your state religion; keep in mind this will cause revolts in provinces not of the new faith, so best to destroy these rebels.

-Political rebels arise if you're in contact with states more liberal than you or if it's the late game. They desire decentralisation(for lower taxes and more local government) and will also demand you adopt a Bill of Rights or offer more representation. To make peace with them, you must accept a centralisation hit of 2(harming your income), or adopt Bill of Rights/Representation Nat'l Powers. The latter can make the curse worse than the sickness due to how changing nat'l powers spikes revolt risk. You will not get political rebels at all if you're a) decentralised and b) have Representation or Bill of Rights.

Those are the four types. Just like EU, if they control your capital and half your provinces, they will cause a national collapse and impose their demands quite well. You will also lose some of your infra level and your entire treasury to represent the devastation and looting. All armies will be disbanded except for one. If they're patriots or nationalists, you will suffer a huge loss of territory and be turned into a vassal of the new state. If they're political, they'll change your ideas and centralisation to their liking. If they're religious, they'll change your state religion, plunging you into chaos and civil war.

Current Revolts and their demands:

-Pakistani Revolt: Independence for Pakistan
-Sinai Revolt: Centralisation goes to 0.
-Nepalese Revolt: Nepal is granted independence.

You need not worry about the supposed "complexity" of this; it's quite simple since revolts rarely happen.

NPC diplomacy:

Axum offers Nubia a trade agreement. This would net +1 for Nubia, and +3 for Axum.

Khmer offers Singapore a trade agreement. This would net +1 for Singapore, +2 for Khmer.

Kamchatka offers Japan a trade agreement. This would net +1 for Japan, +1 for Kamchatka.

Qin China and Tagalog Empire have signed a trade agreement, netting +1 for both.

Astrakhan offers Na-Na-Nine a trade agreement. +1 for Na-Na-Nine, +2 for Astrakhan.

France, seeing tension with Albion, offers a trade agreement that would net +1 for both sides.

Germany and Wienetia have signed a trade agreement, netting +2 for both sides.

Canada and Great Lakes have signed a trade agreement, +2 for GL, +1 for Canada.

Wheres my tech?

Cells 10K-10N.

Iberia gains 26 gold. 23 is invested to finish Civics 3. We colonise 5 provinces around Spain. This gives us 11% RR for the rest of the turn.

For our next move, we pursue Diplo 2, which will cost 22 due to closemindedness. We donate 3 gold from our income and all 8 of our treasury to this.

dude! you keep missing my expansion andmy spending :(

Albion accepts the trade offer from the French King, Louis.

Normandy is no longer on the expansion area, and thus, the Albioners sail to Ireland and claim the island. (How much can be claimed at one time?)

King Alfred has died from old age, bringing Alfred II into rule.

How come all politcal rebels are liberal in nature? Why not have some rebels that want a fascist state? Or a worker's paradise? There could be so much, but you're limiting the scope.

If I try to automate everyone, it will quickly become a colossal headache. :( I only automate players who are absent... but you keep posting here, so you're not set up for automation.

(How much can be claimed at one time?)

For humans and major powers, up to 5 provinces per turn(but remember too much expansion WILL wreak havoc on your stability), and for minor NPCs, 25% of however much they own.

Fascists and Commies can come later on. :p

Great Albion invests all money into Civics 2 and uses what remains into Infra 2

Its not like there are many posts to read through! I clearly said I would be coming and going around new year so posted a plot of expansion over a potential 4 updates.. along with directing my spending!
