Succession
The Caribbean ruler has died, making one question the future of the Aztec, Colombian, and Caribbean thrones. Caribbea's too powerful to become a junior partner, but the Aztecs and Colombians can still break free.
The Aztec crown remains under Caribbea, but that doesn't resolve the issue of Colombia.
Colombia also remains a Caribbean possession. The Caribbean hegemony will continue.
The Guyenese ruler has died. Standard succession.
The Turkestani ruler dies. Despite Russia's hopes, the crown does not pass to them. Russia still lords over Astrakhan, however.

Announcements:
It's an age of revolution!
The Canadian government has been deposed, replaced with a new regime, though little has changed.
The Russian government has likewise fallen, the old monarchy having been replaced by a revolutionary Republic. The new leadership claims to have originated in Canada, very sketchy, but the fact the Iberian Empire has contacts with both states does give some credit to the idea. Either way, Russia has become a republic. Fear of it spreading has consumed many monarchies in Europe, though Iberia has sided with the Republic by signing a defensive pact to show that Russia is no threat. (Mathalamus shall now control Russia instead of Canada)
The Amazonian regime has collapsed into chaos. A weak provisional government has taken over after the government left the country in the best ships it had(that's not saying much since the Amazonians oddly never built a huge navy). While the Ancien Regime took its chances in the mysterious Atlantic, what was a war of aggression looks to make the Amazon, once the wealthiest state in the world(albeit briefly) into a footnote in history.
Oddly, just like Canada and Russia, a new government has seized power in India, taking the reins of administration from the unpopular, incompetent monarchy. This new dynasty speaks a bizarre tongue and follows different Gods, and when one looks at history books in the future, it's discovered the modern Sanskrit language shares some strange similarities with the Amazonian. Indeed, the new government claims descent from a culture that is oddly Amazonian. (Duke Blackstone has abandoned Amazon and now is leading India)

The fall of Na-Na-Nine prompts me to create a new major power to replace them. The new major power will be selected at random from runners up in the last power measurement: Albion, Russia, Carthage, Kiev and Inca.
The gods will Carthage to become the next major power.
Carthage chooses:
Land vs. Naval: 0
Offensive vs. Defensive: -2
Protectionism vs. Free Trade: 0
Centralisation vs. Decentralisation: -5
Public vs. Private Ownership: 2
Quality vs. Quantity: -2
Openminded vs. Closeminded: 0
This has the net effect of:
+29% income
+4% to offensive rolls; -2% from defensive
+8% to all rolls; 1.2 maintenance
