Why don't you have your source scan yourself, Sprig? If he gets the same result on you then we will know he is a bad scanner. Otherwise, if you go along with my lynch, you will lose me, and then you will have to lynch the scanner because he could be a mafia trying to pass as a bad scanner (and besides, what good is a bad scanner anyway? If someone claims bad scanner and get an innocent lynched, he should be lynched for it because it's otherwise a perfect disguise for a mafiosi).

Also, I am very sad to hear that so many of us have been telling your their secrets on Day 2 just because you've been attacked by Martians. It's a poor play, showing that they didn't think about the possibility of 2 enemy factions before revealing their information.

One person could vouch for me, but I don't want him to because it would be a stupid move. I've told a 2nd player about my role, but I don't want him to protect me either (that's if he believes me at all).

3 scanners that I know of. Could be possible with a game this size. I am not sure that they all scan the same thing. The scan on you is specific, it doesn't say that you are martian but rather a threat to this nation. It could mean Martian or it could mean rival mafia group or serial killer or cheese-eating surrender monkey or completly false, who knows :s fact is we don't untill your dead.

I have another plan in motion that will identy if a scanner is false. We won;t need to waaste two days on lynching just one.If you are innocent, I am sorry that you have to die but if you were in my shoes you would do the same thing.

It is dissapointing I agree, it gives the mafia a chance to infiltrate a prophet cabal. not good , so we have to be very careful.

But it happened this way due to very unique circumstances which I can&#8217;t reveal at this time.

(if it exists) I have thought of the possiblity and think I may know and wonder if I should share publicly? I have not seen the movie. I guess I better read the synopsis and see if my theory holds.

If you are innocent, I don't believe you think I am guilty. It would be helpful for you to reveal yourself to me. In return, I think I may be able to safely reveal myself to you. If you are innocent, you want town to win. If you are mafia you already know who I am and not interested in the deal. Granted you may think why bother since you are pretty much already dead. But I implore you to do your duty in the off chance that you are innocent.

You are wrong about that: It is necessary to kill a scanner who got a wrong result on a townie (I've already explained that). The scanner is either bad or a mafia fake claiming, he needs to be lynched because it's not a big loss anyway. I don't know what plan you have in mind, but coming out on Day 3 saying "Okay guys my source was a bad scanner" will not cut it. If I were a townie in this case, I would lynch you or force you to reveal your source and lynch him. There's no other solution.

Do not presume what I would do. Knowledge of who is mafia is often best kept secret for a while, to get extra information from them: see who they vote for, what they post etc. In my eyes yelling that you've scanned a mafia on Day 2 is not the best play, and I would not have done the same thing.

Really? You can't be serious here. If you think I am mafia, there's no way you can "safely" reveal yourself to me, no matter what I reveal to you. As far as you're concerned it could be a fake claim or a cover role provided by Takhisis.

I don't think it's "very evident" at all that Sprig is innocent. It's more than likely, but that doesn't make it certain. Then again, in a game this size, without knowledge of Mafia quotients, percentages are impossible to predict.

I find it very unlikely sprig would be mafia. Perhaps something else. But he has a paper trail right now and Romanichine doesn't.

However, actives> inactives for right now imo so I'll still keep my vote. Nothing personal, but an extremely similar situation happened w/ Nictel in the beatles mafia game where he was a mafia.
