Mass Effect 3

Even if they have a perfectly reasonable explanation for releasing DLCs as soon as they do, the fact is that public perception will be overwhelmingly negative.
At the very least their marketing divison should grasp that kind of logic.

The thing is, despite all that, I'd bet good money that millions of people will buy the DLC. And so whether or not it's been done or purpose, they will keep doing it because people will buy it. Probably even plenty of people who don't like what they've done and consider bioware to be greedy s will still buy it, which is rather unfortunate.

I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe edition because the DLC is coming with it. Granted, I generally dislike with-release DLC, but ME3 is probably the last video game I'll ever buy (except maybe the Last Guardian and the SC2 expansions), so I don't really care.

Yeah, they ran out of the Xbox N7s a while back; they were the first to go, followed by the PC and then PS3 versions.

My friend who works at EB Games said I should go on release date to the store and ask if anyone canceled their Collectors Edition, and then buy it like that. Probably what I will do as this is the only game I actually care about these days.

So, I am new to the pre-ordering business, but it doesn't make sense to me... Surely they make money on every collectors edition sold right? I understand if they don't have enough tangible collectors editions made, but why can't you just order them and get them a month or two later after release date when they are made and packaged? They are getting money, what do they care? These are collectors editions, not limited editions.

You will probably need him to watch the "proper ending".
The other endings are all of fem Shepard dying since she did not have uh thingy with the alien before fighting the boss dark spawn i mean repear.
BioWare reps have explicitly denied this.

And some people who've played the Space Edition and who have completed the game have said that they've gotten the "best" ending, and none of them have the "From Ashes" DLC, obviously, because it's time-locked.

The second live-action trailer was pretty meh. Okay, but meh.

I just want to see the launch trailer. ME2's was fantastic.

Live-action trailers; Y U EXIST!?

Yes, I still remember the trailer from ME2. It's the only trailer I ever actually downloaded and watched more than once (well, almost, not much of a trailer watcher). It might just be the best trailer I've seen for a game, or at least in the top 3. Although a lot of it has to do with the music and I think this music has also been used in other things before and since.

I enjoyed ME2, but all the hassle one has to go through with Origin and preorders or DLC's to get the whole experience puts me off. It felt much smoother with the Witcher franchise and the service CD project offer. I'll see if or when I'll get this.

People who pre-ordered the game on Origin can preload it on Friday.

Official launch trailer released yesterday. Pretty sure I caught a glimpse of Legion in it, which is rather disappointing as he and Miranda (don't really care about her) died in my Paragon playthrough, though I've never had Legion.. not die in any of my playthroughs, be it Renegade or Paragon.

If Miranda died in your Paragon playthrough, you must have been deliberately trying to get her killed (I mean, more so than the other squadmates, obviously). She can only die if you take her to fight the Terminator while unloyal; even if she's the biotic during the Long Walk, or the infiltrator through the pipes, she won't die. Woo, plot armor. That's...well, different strokes for different folks.

Spoiler Legion spoiler :
Anyway, Legion will still show up in your playthroughs even if they did not survive the Suicide Mission - but it won't be the same Legion.

Here's the trailer itself. I'm quite pleased.

Will Legion still have the same... memories? If you can even call it that.

And yes, I was deliberately trying to get her killed. I got Jacob to loyalty because he was simply a soldier and not a real Cerberus slave, but dear god I hated Miranda. I didn't do her loyalty mission and I sacrificed her to save the crew on their trip back to the Normandy on the Collector base.

Pretty bad when I'm more upset of a Geth's death than that of a Human :mischief:
