Honestly IMO i dont see why wrex is allied with the town, neutrals can exist and there is plenty of room for a neutral to claim any role. Especially if their faction goal was to kill certain people.

Because whatever is going on, I doubt a counter claim of "No I'm shepard" will come to fruition
