As much as I'd love to claim that I told you so about the evoker-vigilante (see last night's discussion), I was actually just speculating based on possible roles, so I'm quite surprised to find out that I seem to be right.

Also, Arakhor, does what Legato is saying match what you know?

I'm not sure why you'd think I'd know, but based on the presumption that the vigilante was using his favoured school and that said vigilante was Legato, (a) he should be wounded and (b) whomever he attacked last night (if they also defended with their specialist school) was not an enchanter or conjurer. Of course, not using specialist schools or having undisclosed bonuses will make what I just said useless!

Now that is a devious idea. Of course, do we actually have any way of proving whether that is the case? Maybe nominating SK to duel again today?

That's a pretty potent ability for a wizard to have. I assume they can't do it again, but if they revived you, who flung that alleged curse at Spaceman on Day 2?

BSmith, Legato Endless, KingMorgan and I voted for SK yesterday, so if we assume (reasonably enough) that it wasn't one of us (especially since KM was an enchanter and Legato seems to be an evoker), the necromancer would be someone else, perhaps Christos, as his arrival coincides with the first (only?) use of this power.

If Legato is the vigilante, he clearly can't be the enchantress we're looking for. That much is obvious.

Apologies for not being all that active recently. Lots going on in RL, and no offence to Jarrema here I just haven’t been able to get that into this game. I hate even saying that because of the work that is put into it by everyone, especially Jarrema, but sometimes that happens.

Anyway. Some thoughts here. First, here is a PM exchange I had with KM before he died. I followed up asking him who he had chosen the other nights, but he never got back to me. I was going to pressure him today on that but…

D'oh, should have read my result PM better. No harm in telling you now, for the first 2 nights only I could cast a spell that would enable the chosen persons vote tomorrow to be disregarded - if it was against me. Seems I was role blocked when I tried to put the spell on you last night. I never made it out of my door as there was a monstrosity outside. So, sorry for thinking you were the monstrosity.

I also know that there is a claimed male/female scanner out there, and that he has scanned me and one other living player as male. Now this could be an easily faked scan by the women as they would naturally know the right “result” of any scan, but at this point I am going to take him at his word. I would assume that he has told the other living player his result this morning, so perhaps they could corroborate this?

I also think the theory of one active and one passive ability per magic type is a good one. I have a passive ability and it sounds like there is an active one of the same magic type out there.

Regarding the duel for today, I am unfortunately not getting any strong feelings one way or the other. I’d be interested in knowing who Legato attacked, but the fact that he came clean so easily doesn’t come across as that scummy to me. Very high risk and low reward potential there. Some more detail from SK on what has changed now that he is risen would be good as well. Was really hoping for some information there on his alignment, but that was not to be.

There is a true seer out there? That could be dangerous for them, as that power is almost certainly divinatory. (Remember what I said about town power roles?)

If Spaceman's demon ally only protects him, then who is responsible for KM's claimed monstrosity? Whoever it is, they sound like a role-blocker.
