McDonalds pizza?

Is it my imagination, or did McDonalds used to sell pizza? I seem to thave vague memories of getting pizza in Happy Meals when I was really young, and thinking it was good pizza. Does anyone else remember this? I can't find any sort record on this on Wikipedia, or in a Google search.

I did a quick google search, I can't find anything specific, but there was one guy complaining about how McDonalds got rid of their pizza's.

So I guess it must be true.

I remember it really well .... the pizza sucked!

One of my aunts was in the marketing departement that did the whole McDonalds pizza introduction. She was the one that tought about using the mcdonald's M as the z's in pizza!

All in All the pizza sucked.

Yeah, I saw that too Kan. But why isn't it on their site, or in Wikipedia, or something? It's really weird. And that pizza was good, I remember that much, and it couldn't really be worse than a lot of the crap they serve - bring back the pizza!

So no one else here remembers it? I would think some of the older guys would; if I was a little kid while it was happening, in the early nineties, a lot of you would have been in your teens then.

EDIt: @Raisin: Hooray, I'm not hallucinating! But was it really that bad? How was it compared to, say, Domino's pizza?

I remember it. I think they got rid of it about 10 years ago or so. From what I remember, I liked the pizza.

I don't have dominos here (well not anymore) but It was worst that frozen microwaveable pizza!

I've never had frozen microwavable pizza, so I'm not sure I can understand that. (I've had frozen pizza that you warm up in the oven; is that the same type? It was a bit too big for a microwave though)

Cheese empanadas are also sold at all McDonald's locations in Chile under the same category as fries.

Diabolical ..... I can't even find a mexican fast food place in vegas thats sells them.
