What’s your pick?

I’m thinking Culligan Man

Chuck those big bottles at you

If that is the topic, it could have been less hipster and about villains from some more popular (at least in the west) franchise :D
I doubt I have ever watched any media with Mega Man. If OP had asked about (say) Super Mario, I would have said Mouser.

Whats his weakness! Susceptible to tipping?
Brita filters?

Mega Man was a franchise of games for the NES that started in the late 1980’s. Each game had a selection of opponents that had powers you could take from them if you defeated them, and each had their own strengths against other opponents. In Mega Man 2, for example, the sawblade weapon from Metal Man was effective against Wood Man, and the wood shield could be used against Air Man, and so on.

As the franchise went on, they had to come up with more characters. Here, I submit my own.

I'm just guessing.
MegaMan is a japanese anime superhero .

His enemies have a power and a weakness somehow related to that power.
i think the video games are much better known. there are now > 10 entries in the original series, and mega man x has something like 8 entries too (ymmv after 5 or so). it's a 2d platformer/shooter (mostly) where you progress through levels and fight a boss at the end of each one. each one drops a weapon you can use after you win, and each one is weak to one of the others.

there are also a bunch of spinoff series that change the gameplay loop somewhat. it's one of the more popular nintendo franchises out there, only behind stuff like mario/zelda.

the original series is known for ridiculous names for the robot masters at the end of the regular stages, which is probably where op's title/idea come from. as the series went on the robot master names became increasingly bizarre.

I actually played some Mega Man on Nintendo looong ago (prolly SNES), they weren't bad games :yup:
mega man x1-3 were snes titles and are quite good. some of the better controls/gameplay you can find in this genre/style of game. the story is mostly just there to convince you to move to the right and shoot things. the music is excellent, however.

Probably in Europe and in the US. My knowledge of old console games is as lacking as my knowledge of anime.
