Minecraft

that looks very... steampunk.
It also looks wonderful, can it land?

Actually I think the idea is that it would be in perpetual flight like how starships in Star Trek don't necessarily land except for the ones that can. Although ideally the sails would fold up and be able to settle into water.

Very nice! Although what is up with the giant ram? That looks a little unstable :p

It's to balance out the bigger back! Also it's supposed to be a giant blade/ram so as to slice up rival blimps as well as ram and board them.

Nice. I'm not surprised this was introduced, because when I had seen the Yogscast's 1.9 Animal Breeding program, the sheep were breeding so rapidly as if there was no such thing as childhood: "Oh, look, honey, I just gave birth to an 18-year-old kid!" :p

Obviously this is the solution to prevent mass-reproduction.

In other news, on my friend's server, I think I've found a very weird map bug. Somehow the biomes changed a little and now the biomes are squarely divided rather than blended in together. Even as I was exploring with a map, parts of the desert took over parts of the forest because I explored the area earlier before the weird change. My friend didn't change the map or anything. I'll attach a screenshot later.

I forgot the seed number/name but I managed to find 4 mob spawners within our base, too.

Just got this yesterday. I'd be willing to do some multiplayer if croxis still has the CFC server.

edit: Never mind, found it.

Welcome to the team! [party]

by the way, anyone know when the official 1.9 update comes out?

So I finally got some pics! Hooray for that.
(start backstory you know isn't real but whatever)
the name of this town is Lovecraft (just because.) it was originally founded by airship pioneers and still is the leading manufacturer.
Here is the forge. The TNT? Never mind. (OOC: I just did this to check out TNT. I did it twice. the second time I carved out a hole just on the town boundary and had lava from the forge flow in :D but you realize this is just for show because it was in creative?)

Here is a picture of the (at that time unfinished) AS INCONCEIVABLE. It has one of the most modern ways of keeping air in. This is a fire remover (it has a store of water) and a peaceful airship (because it's made of wood. War Airships are made of Iron, because that doesn't burn that well when you hold the lava :D)
Spoiler :

Here is the floor of the airship warf. You may notice... it's made of planks.
Spoiler :

and why? Because we removed two layers of earth for this:

(OOC: if I detonate this the whole town will be destroyed and the world will end. I tried with a 3X4 in the same style and it almost ripped a hole in space-time-continuum.)
So there you have it. cool huh? (ok maybe not.)

That skin is pretty.

I want to download a new skin too, but I want to wait until after the new update so I don't have to download it twice. :p

I had the inspiration to build an Indian style city combined with a Years of Rice and Salt scenario with factories and railroads all about. Those are apartments on the water front and there are sidewalks to keep carts and trams off of pedestrian areas. Behind those apartments, I wanna build a factory, probably another apartment and maybe a garden behind that smallish apartment. Behind those, probably a railyard and another apartment block. Eventually I want to build a large Hindu temple and a fort. To the left is a locked canal I'm carving out of a river and will fill up an extra level of water with.

Next to a swamp and desert biome? I suck at geography, but that still seems quite fitting.

I wish I had this kind of inspiration. That's my problem with the game, I never quite know what to build. When I do I don't quite know where to start. I think I try to "use the geography" almost too much. Like last world I generated I saw a weird mountain that almost looked like a sleeping dragon or something and I decided to make a dragon shaped stronghold... Um... Well I gave up before I even started as I was walking circling the mountain over and over again wondering where to start and what kind of blocks I'd need and what to do. So I just did what I always do; make a mine shaft, mine for diamond... And... nothing.
