Minedcrafts - a Dwarf Fortress Succession Game!

Unless you're rewinding and picking up the last complete turn, let me know if my guy was one of the ones that died, lol.

PS 31.23

Edit: Oh god, badgers are insane - they become enraged at the slightest thing. I try to get everyone inside when the giant ones pass through. :/

Seriously. My dwarves are always getting bitten in the legs when they go outside. Nobody has had to face a giant badger yet, but I've heard other players have lost multiple dwarves to them. Maybe badgers are the new elephants?

BTW 31.24 31.25 is out. Toady's on fire!

He's on fire? Someone should tell him before he goes for a drink.

I'm so frustrated with the DF mode in DF, i can't get my miners to mine
out the blockage that's really the walls of a big hole in the ground... which is a Z-level underground. :wallbash:

Did you try making the dig site accessible? I find that really improves the speed it gets mined out.

All i did: Put two stairs *thought you had to click the miner then the area you want to mine*
in the ground, and i can't do a thing

That was the snarky way of saying that your dwarves have to be able to get to a place to dig in it. You can't randomly designate a square a z level down. You need to be able to reach it from stairs or a ramp.

Can't dig stairs in an already mined tile.

No idea, lol.

Maybe you should consider a reboot. Perhaps using the turn system they tried out in Sparkgear to keep people interested.

The new necromancy stuff coming in the next update sound awesome. You could wait for that maybe. :P

Necromancy?

Holy Armok, I need to catch up on DF some more. I tried playing it a while ago, but I can never find the balance of danger and having resources. It's either danger and having an aquifer, no metal, or something I equally detest, or have no danger and a crapton of resources.

Anyway, I write too much and spam too many pictures, my updates take way too long for me to do.
