King Guyuk fanatically said that he will kill any and all secessionists. But as he walked away the soldiers plotted against him. The next day Guyuk went to his temple and was talking to a priest when a horse archer shot an arrow, it only wounded him. The 200 priests of the Guyukist temple assumed control and commanded the army to go after that archer. But the army had lost faith in the established order, so did the peasants, and a volley of arrows were fired at the priests, most died, others hid in the temple, they were soon chased down and killed by the rebelling brown guard, yes even the king's bodyguard had turned. Guyuk had escaped out the back entrance of the temple, but as he rode out in his chariot, peasants from the nearby village set up obstacles, and sharp spikes on the road, his horses legs were stabbed by the spikes, and they fell down and died, Guyuk limped out of his chariot, (as he was wounded), but a peasant with a pitchfork charged at him. Guyuk took him down with his sword. But then 5 peasants came out, and attacked him, Guyuk could see more in the distance. He died there, taking down several peasants as he fell.
