Mini-NotW IV: I'm on a Boat (GAME THREAD)

(People are quite the hypocrite posting on how you're not supposed to post at night.)

MORNING FOUR

Morning broke with no more confrontation. There was no sudden scream in the morning, there was no battle in the middle of the night, and it seemed oddly serene as the inhabitants of the castle made their way out onto the deck. A nice, clear day was blossoming and everyone seemed to be in a slightly better mood, with a guilty party successfully executed.

But it was the Navigator that noticed that not everyone had arrived, and a quick search revealed that both the Cannoneer, Niklas and the Cook, Tasslehoff were missing.

A search of the kitchen revealed nothing, but it was the Cabin Boy who discovered the grisly scene in the Cannoneer's quarters. Viciously stabbed several times, and with chunks of his flesh torn out, the Cannoneer still barely clinged to life, labored breaths disturbing the blood pooled underneath him.

"It was...the cook...the cook...'e...'e at-attacked me, 'e d-did..." came the voice, as the Captain held his head, reassuring him. " 'e stabbed me an' when I was dyin' he s-started eatin' me..."

The ships crew winced at this. "What happened to him, Niklas?" asked the captain quietly.

"T-the m-monster took him.... took h...i...m..."

Spoiler :
The Cannoneer was Innocent!

Spoiler :
The Cook was a murderous cannibal!

The day was not boding well at all, even with the cannibal apparently killed by a mysterious monster. The Cannoneer died quickly, the information he had been fighting to pass along finally released. In his quarters it was discovered he had been hiding the Left Oar, which would be voted on. The body of the secretary yielded her weapon, a Poisoned Boot Knife and the cook apparently had nothing of value.

And then there was what to do with the body. It would be a long day.

It is now MORNING FOUR
Those of you with morning actions, send them to me!
Votes for the Left Oar will be in DarkRed!
Votes for the Poisoned Boot Knife will be in Purple!
Night falls in 41 Hours!

PaulusIII may have the boot knife for being the first to recognize something about the secretary, even though he did not know the details I did. And since the bodyguard has taken the other oar, this one would be best served by going to the man who has proved his worth twice over, Bratmon

And what would the slave do with that poisoned blade?

I suggest that we give it to someone more trained, such as the bodyguard

Oh and also... Navigator Hell Hound, you've been mighty silent as of late.....as silent as the late tasslehoff in fact.. Perhaps a explanation would be nice.

And the oar to bratmon. I like public relations, taht's all I am going to say

"I don't suggest that we give yet another item to the diplomat's guard - if he dies, the assassins will have everything they need! I do agree though, that if we don't throw the poisoned knife overboard with the body, we give it to our bodyguard, BananaLee. Give the oar to the new captain, Chandrasekhar, perhaps - he'll know what to do with it."

Actually, the assassin's don't steal stuff when they kill people dear.

Hmm how do you know? There are a few things missing that Niklas claimed to have owned.

Oh, I thought that he was merely bluffing when he said that.

Have I been awfully quiet, well I am sorry, I am just not the most talkative person and with all these killings I have been left a bit shocked is all

Edit: So quiet I voted for all 3 things yesterday?

"I hate cannibals. How about we use the body to lay a trap for the other cannibals? I am sure they would be unable to resist even when they know of the plan.

Bah the bodyguard getting items again? Let the slave have the knife. As for the left oar, I will take it."

I say throw the cannoneer's body overboard, and use the cannibal as a bait for other cannibals. I am also sure that they just won't be able to resist (NOT)

I am sorry but wwhat more do you want me to say, there is obviously something you two know that I do not as otherwise there really is no reason for you to be accusing me. For this I accuse Seon

I think giving the slave a weapon may not bode well for us, in case he tries to make all of us slaves and sell us at a profit.

Also, maybe the oars should be kept separate? Perhaps we would be abandoned if the the oars were united? I would ask for the knife, but I doubt anyone would give teh weapon to a mere cabin boy.

I think I deserve the oar. They won't be united, as long as the Bodyguard still has one. I've proved that I'm not going anywhere.

As for the bod(y/ies) throw (it/them) in the water.

Oh, just checked the votes again. Whoops
I retract my vote against Hellhound, although he does seem fishy. Fishy enough to forget that he had voted all 3 items yesterday :p
