Well I accidentally deleted my PM, so I wiill have to do this in memory.
I was looking at my PM and instantly disliked it. It said that you were sure that slave was innocent because the slave was locked up, and bodyguard was innocent because he was paid.
It sent alarm bells ringing because it was a stereotypical example of "Too Confident merchant," who always gets killed by those who he trusted.
Well it turned out to be true.
My guess is that each body thrown overboard added to the strength of the OO team. We shouldn't have...

You've always wanted that crabby old man's position and now with that captain gone it's time you showed everyone what you're worth! The Navigator always had harsh words to say about the captain and it wouldn't surprise you in the least if he was involved in knocking off the old man himself.
Disaster always brings out the heroes in any story, and you figure this time is as good as any. Gather up all of the navigation tools, sail the boat home, kill the bad guys, and collect the chicks. All in a days work for you.
Team: Ship Crew
Ethnicity: Lanun
Base Strength: 1
Ability: Bravado - You are a terrible navigator, but that doesn't stop you from trying, dammit. You must vote all navigation items to yourself, even though you have no idea how to use them (-1 Progress). However, your bravado IS useful in at least one respect – you're a very confident fighter. (+1 Extra Strength from items)
Item: Harpoon – +1 Strength (+2 in your hands.)
Personal Goal: Thwart the Navigator's attempts to get a Navigation item. Twice.
Victory Condition: Get to the shore alive.
Refresh my memory, who exactly wanted to keep them on board? My guess is that each body thrown overboard added to the strength of the OO team. We shouldn't have...

Your goal is to drown the entire populance of the boat. This is not as easy as it sounds.
Every night, the slave will send me a PM of who you wish to kill. When you perform a kill, you will also Drown the victim and instruct them to follow along underneath the boat. Whatever items they were holding are discarded during the process and will be voted on the next day.
Victory comes when the combined strength of your Drowned army Doubles all other survivors combined.
Good Luck!

Things have gone south for this trip, and as merchants you know a fish when you smell one.
You must find a way off this boat before it is too late.
Good luck!
Artisan
Man, this will be a story for the folks back home to hear. If you ever get there. You don't know a damn soul on board, you lost all of your goods back in Innsmouth, and you had to use your last savings to get a boat back home. A boat with a killer on the loose. Gods damn it.
Team: Innocent Bystander
Ethnicity: Bannor
Base Strength: 1
Ability: So Damn Unlucky You're pretty much terrible luck. This is so true that you tend to permeate it to such a degree that anyone using any ability on you will injure themselves and be unable to use that ability for two nights afterwards. It doesn't stop the ability from working you're just contagious, that's all.
Item: Right Oar - You have one of the Rowboat's oars. Maybe if you can find the other one and some supplies you can get off this deathtrap.
Personal Goal: Wound at least three different people with your unluckiness
Victory Condition: Just don't die.
