Mini-NotW IV: I'm on a Boat (GAME THREAD)

"What makes you think there's more than one cannibal aboard this boat, Nictel? Counting the Cook, I've seen exactly one cannibal in my whole life, so far as I know. It's not exactly a common practice. Furthermore, our Cannoneer's last words would indicate that the Cook attacked him alone. Throw this body overboard, too.

"I'll take the oar, and then I'll give it to someone for safekeeping. I don't like the idea of the ownership of both oars being known to everyone. Don't worry, Royal Guard, I'm as likely to give it to you as I am to give it to anyone else.

"As for the knife, let's give it to the Slave, PaulusIII. Maybe he'll get another clever hunch and stab someone guilty with it, save us all the trouble of voting."

"Anyone who think that my husband is a murderer clearly has something to hide. I accuse Hellhound."

Arakhor why am I being accused, when I was clearly only voting for Seon after his unnecessary vote for me, therefore I retract my vote from Seon, and hope you two retract yours from me

(OOC: I already did :p)

If the men and women on the boat wish to entrust me with it, then I'll take the knife. I'm fine with our Captain taking the oar.

"Do we have any rum in storage? Oh and the oar can go to Bratmon, seems like an ok landlubber, good at playing cards as well."

"Very well, Hellhound," says Arakha. "I am happy to retract my vote for now. Husband, whom do you think is most likely to have committed this terrible acts?"

(OOC: Don't ask people that in Public thread )

The day wore on like any other. The crew did their job, but some passengers turned their thoughts to escape rather than finishing out the ride.

It was generally agreed upon, after a long discussion, that any potential escapee would need to somehow free the rowboat itself, obtain both oars in order to propel the thing, have at least two different navigation items to chart their course, and obtain enough supplies to last them the journey which was not common knowledge how much further they had to go.

In addition, only three people could potentially escape on the boat, further complicating problems. But as the wounded Wench pointed out loudly, they'd have to get the rowboat free of those chains first, which was still a mystery to everyone.

It is now AFTERNOON FOUR
If you have afternoon actions, send them to me!
Night falls in 24 Hours!

"As I said, we're not goin' ta be leavin' on that rowboat fer some time, 'specially with the dorf who claimed that h'could best the chains dead... Hence, I don't care about the oar. Having the captain givin' it to someone at random sounds like an idea."

The wench stands up, but has to lean on one of the others for support, her ankle still unable to support her. "Also, I say that the slave 'as proven his worth, so consid'ring the diplomat an' his guard already have a weap'n, lettim have the dagger. The corpse should be thrown overboard as fast as possible, to avoid any decay and illness."

"I dunno what to think wit' all these accusations and retractions, but I find it suspectible that Krill is so eager to vote against someone, apparently without evidence. Tryin' to thin our numbers, perhaps?"

'Tis true that I want everyone to stay on this boat, and let none escape on the rowboat. Those people who escape will just decrease the strength of us innocents. But I know little of those that say to be trustworthy, and less of those that try to kill us.

Remember Cannoneer Niklas, voting the first oar to himself when he had the second oar? Who was he working with to escape? I know I talked to him but he never mentioned the rowboat or the oar to me. I would like the navigatable items hidden of as long as possible, and my guess is that the Navigator knows where the items are and is trying to escape, and I want to keep him here so that all of us can keep on travelling towards our destination asap.

OOC: Accusing him brought this up at a good time, no?

Well, SOMEBODY has to be killed unfortunately. The helmsman because he hasn't even logged on and I'd rather not kill an active player on no evidence.

I do not know where the navigation items are, but as the navigator I would guess I would know how to use them.

"I've got a hunch about the Navigator, hell_hound. It looked like when the Secretary placed her vote against the Royal Guard, she was trying to deflect attention from the Navigator, who had just been voted against. More importantly, as captain, I've noticed that our ship is a little off course - it's as though someone is working to slow our progress to shore. The Navigator, perhaps?"

And I assume the perfect man to do it is either the helmsmen or the navigator.

Perhaps I was right to accuse you, any reason not to throw you with the sharks?

(OOC:Forest has forgotten to send me a pm on the update and it is of great importance, if I do not get it before I log of could we have a turn extension so I can act on it please)

I doubt he [mainly TFA] would be so obvious for some reason.....

If this is the case, i'd support an extension if my voice matters at all
