[Mini] The SK's Experiment

Dreadnought hasn't posted at all beyond one joke vote. Jarrema has been rather active.

Dreadnough is either a lurking maf or a disinterested townie. I'd put my bet on the latter.

Vote: Jarrema

or you are just simply OMGUS-ing.

It is interesting that you did nothing today befor I voted for you.
It smells fishy, because it suits mafia well: if there is no lynch, you can kill one of us and win. So you only do something when you are in lead

Actually I did say something before you voted for me, but nothing particularly of import.

Re OMGUSing: There's three people left. If I'm not the first person to vote, there is a pretty good chance I'll be voting against whoever voted me, even if I have legitimate reasoning behind it. Seems odd that you would accuse me of that in this context.

Day 3 is over

Votes:
Jarrema (1): mechaerik
mechaerik (1): Jarrema
Did not vote (1): Dreadnought

It was a tie, again! This time, the town called upon the RNG gods!

Jarrema dropped dead! He was Mafia!

Town Victory!

5 Town, 2 Mafia, 3 SK's.

Barely fair it seems.

And:

Town (4)
-DarthFeather (Killed N1)
-mechaerik (Survived)
-MartinLuther (Lynched D1)
-robbiecon (Killed N2)

Mafia (2)
-Jarrema (Lynched D3)
-JoanK (Killed N1)

Serial Killers (4)
-Dreadnought (Survived/Won)
-Nintz (Killed N1)
-Qgqqqqq (Killed N1)
-spaceman98 (Lynched D2)

Yes, the SK here did stand for "serial killer." The "experiment" in this case was to create a purposely unbalanced game that had an equal number of townies and SKs and see what would happen. A 40% night 1 casualty rate was the result.

Right, so this is a fairly standard mafia game, nothing really special. There's X mafia, and at least one serial killer. Just a little test of something I had in mind.

Exact words: X=2, and 4>1.

:p

This is the worst run game I have ever experienced.
Firstly, lets look at the premise:
Right, so this is a fairly standard mafia game, nothing really special.
A fairly standard mafia game has approximately 20-30% scum in it, with most on one faction. Not 5 factions each with a kill ability.
In other words, you clearly devised this game with the intention of deceiving the players, by lying to them in the very premise of the game, meaning people were not signing up for what they were given.

Leaving that aside, lets look at how you balanced these 5 factions to make sure that the game would have an element of skill in it, that factions would be unlikely to be immediately wiped out....
You didn't.
If I was to make a game like this, I would have distributed a one shot kill immunity to every SK (meaning no faction eliminated overnight), given the scum a couple of reasonably powerful roles (Devil, Roleblocker, Untargetable etc.) and made each town quite powerful too (Baner, Tracker, Vig, Innocent Child etc.).
Thus there would've still been a highly random game, but the interactions between PR could've kept it fun and interesting.
Instead, we got the debacle we have, with Town winning on luck, and SK winning without casting a vote.

And lets not mention the deadline issues...

aargh.

I am not happy with losing due to coin toss.

I hoped that in case of tie, there would be no lynch. But well...

You're missing the point. It was run badly on purpose.

So you were deliberately trolling the group when you missed deadlines, forgot to set them, and just generally being of no help in the game?
Just because somethings done on purpose doesn't mean it should be done...
