Yeah. I join your rant about the X-Men's invincibility, and there was no way we could have teamed them after night one when they discovered Seon's ability. Basically, we lost through poor strategy and bad luck on the very first night. I wish we'd realized we could kill Winston like that, but we correctly guessed he had a protection ability like Autolycus did, and didn't think that Seon's block would have any effect on that. Now that we know, we feel stupid.

And, again: GODDAMN YOU DIAMONDEYE WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST DIED ON NIGHT ONE?

yeah that was tough. if you had seon use his power on rhawn, he would have been gone burger.

Which I couldn't because then I would be overkilled by the X-men -_-

My favourite part was when Renata had mind controlled CCRunner and ordered him to inject Magneto. But Nictel had used his ability on CCRunner which redirects to a random person. That person happened to be krill who autolycus was scanning at the time.

So autolycus watched CCRunner hit Krill and Renata thought that she had used CCRunner to hit magneto, while CCRunner had no idea what was going on.

That was a headscratcher. We figured it was Mastermind with an illusion of some sort (though admittedly at least half because the alternative of two people running around with anti-mutant syringes was too scary to think about!), but the details were never really clear.

It was a major data point against Nictel, though.

Hah, that was funny, Autolycus. By that point you're right, I knew perfectly well that the FoH knew who I was, and suspected strongly you were one of them ... was an interesting conversation.

We had a likewise conversation. I was almost sure that Renata was Jean, and I was almost sure that Winston had told her who I was, so it was just beating around the bush until she blurted out

Given that Sprig seems to have vanished, I will try to put up a somewhat suitable unofficial end write-up by the end of this week, just to give us some closure. If any of those who were still alive still have their character pms and want to post them, it might help me fill out the write-up.

It had been a tumultuous day. Professor X had opened the day by declaring that Senator Kelly was a member of the Friends of Humanity and Magneto was indeed the founder of the Brotherhood of Mutants. As the day progressed, he fell into a despair as to the possibility of peace.

As the sun sank low in the sky, the Professor came to a decision. “I have no choice under the circumstances. Senator Kelly must die.”
“I'm sorry professor.” Anna Marie said quietly, as she removed her glove and gently touched the back of the Professor's neck.

Piotr Rasputin lunged for the Senator, but Logan grabbed him and swung him back around. “I refuse to abandon Professor Xavier's dream, even when he has!” Wolverine tackled Colossus, and they both fell to the floor, struggling.

Senator Kelly looked across the room toward where Magneto stood. He pulled a pistol outside of a shoulder holster under his jacket and in a loud voice spoke, “Max Eisenhardt, alias Magneto, I sentence you to death in the name of truth, justice, and the American way!”
Magneto chuckled, “This ain't no comic, Superman,” and reached out for the gun. It didn't move.
“Sorry Magneto, my buddy Trask, here, has developed a field that protects me from your freakish powers. Come and get me.”
Even without his powers, Magneto was still a strong man. He rushed towards Kelly, and a shot rang out. Magneto fell to the floor, hit in the shoulder, his helmet falling off. Kelly walked over, “Bye,bye, Mutant”, and shot him again, this time through the forehead.
Rogue, still imbued with the powers of Professor X, confirmed

Senator Kelly glanced at Boliver Trask, then at the four mutants still around. “Looks like we've done all we can here. I guess we'll be going.” Kelly and Trask walked out the door. Colossus made to follow them, but Wolverine stopped him. “No, let them go. If we kill them, we are no better than them, and hope for peace will truly be gone.”

With the leadership of the Brotherhood of Mutants dead, the war turned against mutantkind. The X-men performed many great feats of heroism and mercy during the war, however, and captured the popular imagination. Information leaked to the press, proving Senator Kelly's involvement with the Friends of Humanity, and he was forced to resign. Soon a new peace conference was held. Mutantkind surrendered, but they would be monitored, not exterminated by the Sentinels, with limited rights guaranteed to them.

You were Sabertooth. Yay Friends and X-Men, we survived to the end for split victory, even though neither of us could win, since all the townies being gone prevented the X-Men from winning.

Technically, we could have still possibly won, but without any more method of killing/virusing people, we'd have to pull off something truly ridiculous to be able to lynch the 4 remaining people before they lynched us.
