anyways, I just want to say that Mergle is full of it in private discussions, and there is a supposed block of Earthling night 1 (Which had 1 nightkill).

so, I'll vote: earthling. Poor lead since there are multiple blocks (i.e. me and capt blackladder got blocked on previous nights), but a block is a block at the least. axe kill still went off though.

The day dragged on, with very little of anything approximating a consensus. Finally, as the day neared its end, attention began to focus on the quiet chaos adept. His accusers, including the water adept were bearing down on him, asleep in a corner, when one of them, Turquoiside, picked up a book from a nearby table and brought it down on the head of the water adept. He dropped like a rock, and Turquoiside pulled out his quill-trimming knife and slit the unconscious topsecret's throat. Inspection of his room showed:

Shocked by the discovery of this new foe, but heartened that they had taken one down, they dispersed to their rooms once more.

Morning Day 4​

The sages groggily arose once more, to find one of their number dead and one missing. Earthling had fallen prey to his weak heart, or so it seemed. Mergle, by contrast, was nowhere to be found, but an ax was lodged in his floorboard and copious amounts of blood seemed to have been spilled. Earthling's possessions revealed nothing amiss, while Mergle appeared to have ... nothing? Curiouser and curiouser...

Puzzled by this development, but with threats clearly still stalking their halls, the lethal debate was commenced once more.
