The Advisor on the screen just moved a little, and the Combine Overlord of Mobius fell to the ground, silent, dead. The portal above City 42 finally closed, and the colony was cut off from the Combine Overworld.

The Overlord’s second-in-command quickly realized the Combine Colony was going to die without support, and thus called up the Robotnik Empire, and officially surrendered. In return for their surrender, the Combine gets 1/4th of all POWs for testing, and their life. Thus they shall use the POWs as a bargaining chip to get the Combine back to them, to go back to the Overworld. It is unknown if they will succeed, but who knows?
