[MOD] Composite Mod by Exavier

Does marathon game speed work well with this mod? I noticed that production is at normal level. How does this effect gameplay?
 
@TheLopez - lol thanx... as for your stacker Mod... I may when i get my Laptop back and can actually work on my mod again... Lack of immediate testing of my code and pretty much haulted all current progress atm... 1 week down... 2 to go... And I have already lost my mind. Next week I start shooting ppl :crazyeye:

@keldath - lol now you see why I haven't done a full merger of those mods yet... lack of testing time :p

@MasterOfShogun - The units are actually reduced in size by about 30%. I think i may need to post screenshots as I get this question alot :p

@furtigan - I plan to... I actually have several that ppl have asked for and I just need to get them added in :p

@NuclearElephant - No I don't have anything like that in my mod... I have been purposly avoiding any modifications dealing with religion.

@scienide09 - lol. Well i was thinking of adding some late game research boost buildings since i expanded the tree. I am not sure if there is anything I can do about the OCC game research without effecting everything globaly but I can look into it.

@Marshall Thomas - Well Marathon Speed is probobly very long and drawn out. I haven't played it on that speed as Epic is long enough for me. :lol:

Hey Exavier, I am hitting some more python errors in the CustomFunctions.py file. I just wanted to let you know, the error is on line 193.
 
Is it possible to change size of units. Now it is 30% of original. I prefer it to be 100%.
Where can I change that ?????
 
@TheLopez - Can you be more specific as If the thing runs fine in game play then I don't consider it errorous (unless i know the language and what to look for)

@Orion66 - Hope I don't sound rude but did you actually read the first thread where you downloaded the game from? There are 2 Versions of every release. the Normal version with the 30% reduction and the NG version that does not have the reduction. I did this because several ppl did not like the reduction.
 
EXAVIER ----> Am sorry but there is NO diffrence beetwen NG version and reduced version. In both mods units are tiny. Please check it by yourself.
 
@Orion66 - Do you have Blue Marble Terrain Installed? I was told that the graphics looks small with this mod installed allong with my mod even if using the NG version.

I have gone over the files multiple times... The files used in each NG version that cancels out the reduction are exact copys from NG to NG version (as I don't need to change them each version). Since atm I don't have my game pc here to test changes (Which is putting me on litteral edge as I have no stress reliever) I have to assume that its working properly because I know that the older NG versions work fine (due to the number of thankyous I have gotten from those versions). I can look into it more but with the exeption of Cloud Cover and the City Bilboards (name/production bar) there are no other graphical changes to the NG version over Vanilla :crazyeye:

EDIT: Sorry I have to appoligize now I am being a little rude... I'll take a closer look at that file again tomorrow and rebuild it line by line if I have to. I'm just frustrated and can't blow steam (or nukes) as I use games as a stress reliever for RL issues. This PC I am using right now is running an Nvidia Vanta video card and can't handle pretty much any game in my 300 CD binder... at least not the ones I haven't beat enough times to be bored with yet :p
 
Ok boss. I will be pleased if you can fix this. I want to play your mod but those units are so small that my eyes blows. Also please do something with to small city info box :)

Hey courseofra, I did something like this in my APC and Combat Engineer mod, it would be fairly easy to integrate this into Exavier's mod yourself, if you're unfamiliar with modding send me a PM and I'll walk you through it.

@Exavier: I took the liberty of making some tech icons, hope you don't mind. It's not all of them, but I included couple of variations for some of the techs. Here's a sample (zip is attached at the end):

I did a cargo plane reskin of the bomber, check it out and if you like it feel free to include it.

Edit: Exavier, or anyone who's been playing using this mod, as far you know, does the AI know how to use cargo planes? All the games I played so far, the AI never even produced the unit, let alone used it. I just have this nagging feeling that the AI just doesn't know how to handle any transport other than sea-based. (I hope I'm wrong)

@courseofra - I may though the AI only uses Naval Transports... untill we get the SDK I don't think it will be possible to change this :(

@Rabbit, White - thanx for the icons and the cargo plane reskin... See first note: The AI only uses Naval Transports :(

I put the air version in for MP reasons lol.

Made only one game in noble, u can get rifleman about 100 AD

ill try it with trade teachs off
 
Exavier, I just wanted to thank you for the Mod. It has been great fun.

The only annoying thing is the way the culture system works on a small earth map.
I have been having things slow down a bit faster than before too. I do use the blue marble tile set and some people seem to be having problems with that.

But all in all great fun, and my F9 (viewing stats) is working again!
 
@Orion66 - Still haven't had time to look at it... work is keeping me so busy its eat, work, sleep, repeat the last few days :cry:

@JohnYoga - There are many other combination mods out there but very few that go to the extent I have lol. You would have to look through the Completed Modpacks forum :p

@MrThing - I am actually thinking of pulling out the Cultureal Modifications... The Idea works well in Mylons Mod but because I haven't focused extensivly on Culture building structures like Mylon has it doesn't work as well in my Mod lol.

Blue Marble is a large Mod... And because its a CustomAssets Mod it doesn't always like to work well with Composite because I made my mod for MP compatability.

See the bottom right corner. The score display shows through the city screen. I can't see any details on my Great People points, it's also nearly impossible to manually set which specialist you want. I also can't see any details about luxuries and food resources in the top right.

This didn't happen at first, but reloading the game doesn't seem to help it.

It also really lags when opening and closing the city screen.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem. This time in the begining of the game.
I have done some research and find out that bug appears when I sign open agreements with France.
Please take a look and help us.

I have found sollution. There is problem in CIVMAININTERFACE.PY
Just delete the file and will be no lag anymore.
 
I copied new file from Snaitf's Show Attitude Mod and it works fine. But I cant put soldier citizen anymore. There is "+" button but it not works.

There is no lag.

Could you find out which modification in the file causes lag?
