[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

Hello I'm new to this mod. I downloaded FfH 2 today because yesterday I played through the one FfH scenario that came with BTS (which I recently found on ebay packaged with Colonization for 18 bux!! woohoo!! yes I'm cheap) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So I decided to look into finding other scenarios for this fascinating mod. I, now, am very happy to have found FfH 2 which comes with several scenarios.. translation.. days of endless fun and enjoyment. :goodjob: THANKS GUYS!!


OK.. after having played the first FfH 2 scenario I have to say it again GREAT MOD!! THANKS GUYS!! I have been a civ fan for years, but THIS is the game I have been yearning for! I LOVE the storyline.. and can't wait to play more. Thanks to you guys I'll be seeing my Fiance' even less.. hehe she already :):):):):)es about how much time I spend on the pc..
 
Hello all. I've been playing FFH on a buddies computer for years and have finally got my own copy of Civ4 as well as my own internet so I downloaded it last night as well as the 3.17 BtS patch. However it doesn't run at all like on my buddies computer. When I double click the short-cut I saved to my desktop, it asks what program I want to open FFH2 with. I choose Civ4 BtS and it opens BtS like normal. So I went and loaded the FFH Age of Ice Mod from the advanced screen and it brings up something like FFH but only lets me access that one Scenario (playing as Kyloin vs. God of Winter) and no other games. No custom, no multi-player, nothing. What can I do to fix this? Did I save things wrong or something? :(
 
is that the latest patch? cause if so then i already have it. (sorry, thought 3.17 was newest ones numbers.) I have them all downloaded as well as the media pack and am working on the blue marble to see if that helps. I wanna start getting my adventurers!! >.<

I think you need to fix that shortcut. It may not be correct. Otherwise, just launch Civ IV vanilla, look around in the menus for FFH (not Age of Ice), and re-launch the mod from there.
 
Ok, I just dloaded the mod, and it came to me in the form of 1 huge uncompressed file (373 mb) and it says the file type is 'file'. I try to open it and it doesn't know which program to open it with. Do I have to use a certain type of program to install it? :confused:
 
Ok. I have just encountered a problem. For some reason my production in all my cities stopped. No research, no coin, no hammers. I reloaded the game from a previous save point and the same thing happened. I was researching festival at the time, and it got down to 1 turn before it was researched and it just stopped there. I will go turn after turn and nothing gets produced. I'll give you more details as you require them.
 
i have an idea for a civilization for fall from heaven but i have been unable to find out how to mod it. can anyone help me? id appreciate it.
 
but the idea i had was using fall from heaven 2 units and taking an existing civ and modifying it. i just do not know how.
 
ok so i looked at the modding help, but ive never been good with computers and all this is over my head. is there any way that i could show the idea around to people and if someone likes it they could possibly make it or assist me in creating it?

Try the creation and customization forum. Start a thread there.
 
Bit behind the times here but, having just downloaded patch 3.19 for BTS i have encountered the problem that BTS "Stops Working" when i try to load the ffh mod. Same thing occurs when i try to load a save game from the mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated
