One of my options is that when a unit dies it will be reborn in the capital like I did with the Russian in RTW Historical.

as u know these days vietnam and china are very unfriendly

and how about in africa continent there are often war

really they are doing like that

so the nations in africa continent relationships are all bad

then they ll fight each other often

do u have any plan about next version ? 1.04 ?

kiwitt, unique "national" infantries really looked good in vanila mod. Even if you implement your system of relative strength of different army units you still could leave unique infantries in place with their graphic and unique bonuses, while providing them with any promotions you like...

ehm ... they look good? Koreans look like Koreans, Africans like Africans. They all can start with unique bonuses. Earth would look more diverse, as it is.

I'll give it some thought. But I believe there will be more important things to add, like the auto rebuild of destroyed units into the capital, like I have in RTW - Historical.

What makes you think this is important or even realistic? Never understood the rationale. .

Because when a division is wiped out it is reformed by the military, with new volunteers.

Note: This would not apply to Aircraft, Ships and Armoured units and only infantry ones, where manpower is the key component.

well, how is it different from simply training a new unit? if division got wiped out it does not reappear miraculously -- someone has to spend time and effort to train new people.

Yes ... but you can do a whole lot in a months time. Nations with lots of technical units, would suffer greatly, however as you lose that expertise. For the US, I think the only units really eligible for this feature would be the National Guard units, but it would greatly advantage China and African nations.
