Modern NES

Wanderer: NESs I view as completely sperate from the forums and reality--I'm completely in character there, so I tend to assume the same of other people :D.

Each day is a year?

Anyway, we ally with Germany.

Hold Up EVERYONE!!! The Game is going to start over cause no one payed anything so we are gonna start over. Every Leader is now limited to 5 posts a day unless they get permission from me. The game is going to start now. Everyone PM their Military plans to me or submit them regulary. Every hour is 15 days in the game. 24 hours is one year.

HAH! This shows the flaw in all present NESs, too many rules.

In this NES, yeah. Try UKNES3 or read through some of the past NESes - like ARTNES, or go to SUPERNES. Those NESes have rules without being too complicated.

Most don't have too many rules. I think you'll find that rules are often needed to prevent morons ruining it.

It depends on what way you view the NES. If you think of it as a true never ending story(like the first ever NES was *nostalgia setting in*), a NES which has people playing each nation(like Das's NESs) or a game(like the rule based NESs).

If you prefer the first, then you will probably not mind the second type, and vice versa, but you will not like the rule based NESs. If on the other hand you think of it as a game(partly or fully) then you will probably like the second two. It's a matter of personal taste - I see the NES as a game now. I find the first concept boring, but the second is still okay.

This NES looked cool, I would have joined if I'd had time(I still might if it regains its feet).

Nemesis

Well, I have been thinking about many comments on my threads and PMs I am thinking a good way to attempt another NES would be to try to restart this one, of course with The Troquelet leading it i hope?
