No worry, just queue some buildings or unit movement, and set yourself in vocation mode, so that you won't count as skipping turns.
 
Is the ai playing for me or something? I played one turn when I got back from vacation but I haven't played one since. Into the third day now??
 
Just finished a turn so I assume it was just a long time between them. I'm a noob to the GMR scene so I don't really know:) Is there a turn timer??

Oh and btw why is there so many Austrian units by my city? :mad:
 
There is no turn timer for this game. It's been moving pretty quickly, though, with the exception of the last couple turns.
 
Austria units just guard their border with other civ, this is only border where Austrian and any other major nation borders meet, so to ensure our safety our guys just drinking some coffee there and dancing national Austrian dances at evenings. We protect our numerous workers , because our border cities are too close, and our workers doing hard job around border city.
 
Been stuck on Tivo's turn for a while now. I know he said he had things to do but maybe we can get some confirmation that he actually reads?

lets put day turn limit .. no need quitting, TiVo :)
 
What do you think TiVo? Would a timer help, or are you just too busy?
 
To be perfectly honest, this whole wedding planning thing is actually keeping me much busier (and more tired) than I anticipated. I'd probably end up getting skipped a lot, at least until after October.
 
I appreciate you letting us know, even if it is disappointing. At least now you have a better sense of the commitment involved in these games. Hope to see you afTer things settle down. And btw, congratulations on your impending marriage!

Carls, would you consider subbing for us in The Big Gamble? I know the games are slow (and that one will be even slower), but come on, when else will you get to play an MP game on huge with 12 players? :D

I'll sub why not:) Just to let everyone know I will be going offline indefinitely at the end of november. As long as that is ok ill join in.
