Modified Scenarios Workshop

Right now, I'm working on a conversion of Pax California. Some of the graphics have me stumped though. I mean, I guess there are units hiding behind the mountains - but look at this!

There's a bunch of other graphical errors too that I don't know what to do with. What am I doing wrong?

Whatever unit is under that mountain doesn't have the appropriate color in its "diamond." You need to use a paint editor to capture the precise color from a different unit and replace this unit's color with it.

Oh, I've just noticed the problem and am fixing it now.

One other thing, how do I restrict the choice of players at the start to just one party?

If gapetit is indeed talking about barbs, they vanish as part of normal CIV2 mechanics. They can be made permanent in rules.
CS is absolutely right, but in that scenario it is not marked in Rules and in the beginning the barbarian units are not assigned NONE.

Maybe I'm not very observant, but things seemed OK in my game. Do you mean barbs disappear after a while, as this is a 'feature' of ToT is it not?
The scenario is better than I thought . Great scenario and much better with your units.

That is a ToTPP option in Cosmic2. You can restrict which tribes are playable. Go check out Napoleon and you'll see it in action. I'm on my phone and can't easily give an example, but you should grasp it after reviewing the cosmic2 section of Napoleon.

Did Pax California come with any sound effects originally? I get the feeling that it should've done, since most of them are missing or wrong.

Pax California was ground breaking graphically, but it could do with a ToTPP redux from the ground up.

Because there are a lot of advances in ToT and Lua that could enhance the design. If you are already
planning to take advantage of the latest features, please excuse me, I was making an observation.

Hi all,

Kull's the "Ancient Empires 3500 BC - Seeds of Greatness v1.1" scenario has been updated with new graphics and to run with ToTPP. It can be downloaded from the CivFanatics download section located here.

This is a very enjoyable scenario to play though quite challenging since to achieve any kind of victory you must capture at least 2 of your opponents capital cities (there are only 7 objectives in the game, all the capital cities).

Hi Gapetit,

I don't know if anyone else has experienced the same problem but I tried to open your LOTOR.rar file from 2 different computers and keep getting a 'No Archive Found' error message.

Could you please try to upload it as a zip file instead to see if that works?
