What's new: Reworked techtree which incorporates History from 1861-1894 AD. Added many many diverse units. All new set of flag leaderheads done historically correct, by BenGee 171. New resources have been added, by BenGee 171. These include coffee, cotton, and potatoes, to name a few. Added a modification, by Voyhkah, which gives gold to a civ that sinks certain opposing transport ships, or privateers. You can call it piracy, or commerce raiding. These are just some of the changes, and more may be added later.
Further Projects: I am currently working with a version of GEM's 1500 AD mod. I want to work further with the tech tree, and have a viable evolution of artillery and ships from pre 1492-1704 AD. I am currently researching the time period for further ideas.

After that, I want to create a American Revolutionary GEM scenario, starting with a bonus French and Indian War scenario. I want to formulate a seperate techtree for this time period with the correct units and Native Indian tribes. Then from here I will rework the map for the beginning of the American Revolution.

I also, have ideas for a French Revolution scenario, which will of course lead to my favorite Napoleon Bonaparte.

I have to update, the 1861 AD mod further towards WWI. Next will be the time of protected cruisers, up to dreadnoughts, and early flight. From advanced balloons, to zeppelins, to early airplanes, up to late biplanes, and bombers(All this being moved from my Great War mod). From Boer Commandos to WWI style infantry and Mounted Infantry(Late Cavalry early 19th Century, Boer Commandos will fall in this category, but they will have some different promotions). As you can see I will be quite busy. Some of this will probably be worked on in the new CIV 5. But unless I can play the new game, it will be done on Civ 4. And to tell you the truth Civ 5, may be a year or so old by the time I get to it.

What's new: This mod is designed to play like an expansion pack for Beyond the Sword 3.19. It adds in the Next War units as well as new future units, it adds 16 new civs, two new traits, Resourceful and Strategic and enough new leaders that every trait combination is in use. It adds in Orions Immigration and Inquisition mods as well, and two new map sizes (giant and gigantic). It adds in six flavors of art for units and cities: European, Greco-Roman, Middle East, Asian, African, South/Native American. It also balances a few things in the game, like Imperialist and Expansive traits have been modified, units have been changed (the Jaguar has a free first strike, for example, Praetorians are renamed Legionnaires). It's designed to make every civilization unique and powerful.
It adds several new wonders, and new Hero Units that start with incredible abilities and promotions. Hero units require you to be the first to a new technology, build a wonder, or merely to train them first. These include units like the Knights Templar, 300 Spartans and the 442nd Infantry.
All leaders have fully-realized diplomacy text and unique sayings, and every new civilization has its own diplomacy music. Several civs have their own audio for units, for example, Polish troops will speak in Polish when selected.
There are also a few gap-filler units available to all nations, like Biplanes, Special Forces, Longswordsmen and a few others.
The Full Change list is available in the first post on the thread, as well as several screen shots.
A big changes is that some units require buildings to be trained: Like Battleships require a Drydock, and Cannons require you to build Arsenals, and Nuclear weapons can only be built in cities with a Nuclear plant.
Further Projects: I will be watching this for error reports and suggestions, but I will not begin a new modpack for Civ IV. I'll just be tending this one, and releasing 3.1 or more versions as bugs are reported to me.
