Modscenario: Playable Byzantines, 610AD.

How could someone update this to the latest version of RFC?

Probably by comparing every file and look for changes. (There are programs that help with this.) Then carefully examine each change and add them to the current version. (Even if I think it would make more sense to do this with the Marathon mod-mod instead.) Its basically a programming job.

Note that there are SDK changes also, so the person doing the conversion would have to compile the DLL file also.

Ahh.Well,that's sorta too complicated for me to understand,as i was thinking of trying to update it myself since no one else would.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is the reason it hasn't been done yet. I for one can't do it myself.

I do know some programs for comparing the files and changing them,having seen them for Total war games,but SDK and DLL files are probably too much for me.

Yeah, it does seem like a lot to tackle just to do this one thing. But on the other hand - I've seen people with no programming experience recompile the DLL. It should simply be a matter of following instructions - and also understanding them.

I could probably follow instructions,but chances are that i would mess up the whole thing.I usually misunderstand instructions.Also,where is the person who made the mod? Do they even still go online here?

Well, lets just say that Lena is still my "current project". She has proved to be a pretty popular avatar as well, but I'm guessing you're a bit tired of the gimmick at this point?

Oh, people come and they go. Some get tired of modding, some bored. Some drop off the face of the Earth. And soon everyone and their granny is off to the Civ5 section.

I'm not hopeful... (Or, I'm sounding hopeful, but its making me cry. Its a Lena reference, just to get back on topic. )
