The origin of the terrorist is unknown, but Al Qaeda is of course suspected. Thirteen US soldiers die, one hundred are injured, and thirty citizens are killed. Taliban supporters are expected to be hiding in the mountains. This rises more mourning at home; people are growing discontent with the current situation in Afghanistan.
A plague hits Somalia! Thousands have are dying in the streets, adding to the thousands that are already dying without food and water. Most pleas to the UN for help.
Slovak rebels make their presence in the Czech Republic as a bombing in Prague has left four dead and thirteen injured. It was a car bomb, in the main street along one of the most populated boulevards in the city. The Czech Republics first terrorist activity in decades has severely hurt the tourist economy. The government pleads to anyone who can help crack down on national security.
Taiwan takes the next step to nationalization with a treaty signed with Japan of mutual protection. This has put pressure upon China and the rest of the communist world to recognize the island nation as an independent nation.
Georgian militarists have taken matters into their own hands, as the government of Georgia does not grant the right to vote to foreign-born Georgians. Fighting has broken out among the streets, and a civil war looks promising. The Georgian government cries out to the world and to Russia for aid.
Many military movements among the borders between Israel and Syria have prompted an immediate shift of Israeli army to the eastern border. Meanwhile, tensions have seemed to lower in the West Bank as the PLA is silent.
Pakistan takes the next step towards war with India by again fortifying its borders after hearing news of a pending Indian strike.
Organized crime in Sicily reaches an all-time high as two are killed in a deadly shoot out, expected to be a mob activity.
Anti-American sediment in the Middle East continues, mostly in Iraq as the nation continues on a path to rearm itself since the Persian Gulf War. Already Saddam Hussein already has back 75% of his military strength.
